Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia here. Now that is a real weather forecast right there. My father always had the radio tuned into a station in Maine. He planned his days around Maine weather always saying that whatever Maine gets today, we will most likely get tomorrow. Thank you for a great weather report . Stay safe everyone.
Excellent information, well presented! Thanks for the great info and for covering us up in Canada! I'm in Newfoundland; we're no strangers to Hurricanes, so it's great to see information that's important to us as well!
Thank you for such a thorough explanation. This is what I came searching for.. everything I’ve watched so far is basically 2 minutes of the same thing.
Eh, I live in Moncton. Nice to meet yah fellow Canucker. I'm just across the border in Cumberland County Nova Scotia though at the moment though, right in the path of Lee.
For real. I feel like 90% of meteorologists never even mention new Brunswick. If anything it's just nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Cheers from Saint John NB
Thank you for your updates! We live in PEI, and we were not properly informed last year as Fiona was approaching. Not making that mistake again. The Canadian government won’t say too much about this hurricane “it’s too far away still”. The Eastern end of the Island (where we live) was nearly flattened by Fiona. We are still trying to clean up from it.
Guess I'm in trouble. I am very near the isthmus of Chignecto, in the little piece of land where the Bay of Fundy ends and Nova Scotia and New Brunswick join each other lol.
What's your elevation above MSL? Bay of Fundy, huh? wow the greatest tides on the planet. I remember a friend of mine pulling in there to scrape barnacles off his sailboat and repaint it. years ago I wonder if sailer's still do that? He said the water completely drew away from his boat left it high and dry! That's unreal.
‘The cone of uncertainty’. Great phrase. ‘Pretty much guaranteed to be expected’ was also pretty good. This is what I get for saying Boston never gets any hurricanes.
I remember 1991 Hurricane Bob. It went by Jacksonville so fast. The surf was flat at sunset. The waves hit at night and was flat again at sunrise. We were so disappointed.... as surfers. After that? I just remember it was an extremely expensive problem child up north.....
Hurricane Bob was a direct hit on Marthas Vineyard. Thats where i live. It knocked power out for a month for some people. It was devesrsting. Kind of nervous about this one.
Praying them into SEA, next one off afraica is huge. Preparing pets carryon bags already. Still repair from 2022, worn out with these prep/repairs. Pray them off Florida's land! 47 animals, can't evacuate. Pray for me getting a cargo van!! Be safe!! Look at Jeanne 2004, they wabble!! Plan! Safe blessings.
Good, so nothing to worry about in Montreal area 👍 We got enough trouble this year with the april 5 ice strom, june 13 tornado storm, and august 3 major storm. Hopefully i can store my generator for the winter now.
I wonder if it might make sense to think of the major components of air pressure and the storm as US football players. The storm would be a running back, high pressure components would be defensive tackles, and low pressure components would be offensive blockers.
I don't know who this sexy man is, but I live in Florida, have no threat of being affected, but this meteorologist is ON POINT! I am TOTALLY okay with this style of broadcasting information. I understood him and didn't feel talked down to. It's nice to see a forecast delivered in such a relatable way.
Getting Ben & Gerry's to have on-hand for your next update. EXCELLENT (20/10) presentation style and content gives us, public, info confidence. D. in Halifax
Like the video🙏 Very clear explanation. Lately I have become quite interested in hurricanes. I realise that there is so much power in different elements on our planet. How the hurricanes speed up in energy or loose more energy, there is so much to it! Well......grabbing a piece of pizza 🍕doesn't really speed up human energy. Why not suggest grabbing some fruit 🍎or a nice cooling cup of fresh water 💦. That is really more beneficial for the energy of human species😊

Thank you so much for watching
Sounds like a smart guy
appreciate you including your Canadian neighbors on your analysis. Hope everyone on both sides of border will be safe
I don't really care about the Canadians, but I suppose it was okay to mention them.
Canada is an okay country, the only problem with it is there are too many Canadians.
🙄🙄 at least we’re not running around killing each other like crazy americans!
Halifax NS here. Thx for the information. Watching this closely
This guy is good. Best future-cast we’ve seen on LEE yet.
Thank you
Thanks for the update from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.
Sure thing
I’m glad I’m not the only one noticing that westward turn of the models. North east needs to watch this
Don't worry, we're all tracking this storm

Good info. I'm on the New England coast, guess I should look up some hurricane preparedness videos.

Thank you for your excellent forecast.
Watching from Lawrencetown Beach, Nova Scotia. Thank you.
As a new Brunswicker thanks for not just ignoring Canada like so many other American weather personalities. Great frequent updates.
For real. I feel like 90% of meteorologists never even mention new Brunswick. If anything it's just nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Cheers from Saint John NB
Agree 100 percent. This man cared enough to show the spaghetti track all the way to atlantic Canada..
Excellent broadcast!
Nice to see weather for Maine, that helps me plan for Nova Scotia, Fiona did damage to my farm last year
Excellent report
Wow.. very thorough..good work!
Very good job of architecting your explanation to be easy to follow. Excellent job.

Yup, I'm in Prince County and we didn't have it as bad as Kings, but still so much damage. I am really concerned with this storm.
Thank you
Clear cut explanation. Educating. 👍
Thanks !

Watching from Florida! Thanks for the update
Glad it doesn’t seem to be heading to Florida. Wasn’t this thing Cat-5 at one point? Would’ve trashed Miami.
@@headlibrarian1996yeah in the first day or so it went from a 1 to a 5 (i think) overnight

Yes I’ve used that analogy for winter storms with North Atlantic blocking

Watching from Boston ma thank you for the ℹ️
very good explanations.
Thanks for updates, I live in New Brunswick
My grandma lives in FL but is on a trip to Maine for another few weeks. Hoping this misses her as she's in an RV rn.
Time to encourage her to come back NOW before she cannot get out
Please tell her to come back early. No use taking chances. A 1 hurricane can also be deadly.
Buy her rubber boots! Never drive with gusts.
The cone actually represents areas of "equal chances" within the cone, it is not meant to say the middle is the most likely.
True but most people see it as center. I could do a better job explaining
@@PizzaWeatherman no worries, good video
This is an excellent forecast. I've more about storms, so thank you!
This took 2 whole pizzas for me to even grasp a glimpse of it - i am baking another one with prosciutto now to really get the full scope of this
