Makes more sense than all the nonsense post 2017. I’d rather watch 24 hours of fear her than the Chibnall non-cannon and RTD lobotomy 2 eras.

Gonna be honest with you. When the story was new, I hated it. Loathed it. Despised it with every fibre of my being. I'm a lot cooler on it *now*, in part because a lot worse has come along since, but...
Frankly, it's emblematic of a lot of problems with RTD's writing style. He often favours spectacle over good narrative sense. Now, I'm writing this comment *before* watching your video, I want to note, so you may cover or refute some of these points, and if you do I shall make edits to reply to what you say.
The first thing that bothers me is the Master's revival. Looking at it as an amateur writer, it's so wasteful and pointless, and doesn't add anything to the plot. If I could have bent RTD's ear back then I would have asked him this simple question: "Why didn't you use the immortality gate to revive him?"
The other plot point that still bothers me is Donna falling unconscious with that psychic knockout wave. It illustrates a lack of writing courage. The easy way out taken, rather than any effort put in to saving her. Perhaps he could not think of a good way to do it - after all, The Master could have hidden her anywhere on Earth and had her eliminated via a phone call, which would have made it too difficult to save her. On the other hand, that's a terrific piece of tension, and a writer *should* crave the chance to put their character through the emotional wringer figuring out a way out of that impossible situation. It is also a remarkable contrivance. Makes it easy!
If there's one other thing I would have suggested, make it a three part story instead of two. First part ends with the Master Race bit. Then the second part ends with the Time Lords returning - and the last episode deals with The Doctor and the Master collaborating to stop the Time Lords from ending time itself. There's a lot you could do there, with 45 minutes to play with it.
I guess, in retrospect, the thing that annoys me about it is the wasted potential.
Edit: Quick reminder that 4th died from a less intense fall than 10th had in this story. And he landed on grass rather than falling through a skylight and onto a hard floor.
