Dude we had a night like that in a small channel between the bank and an island in the Upper Mississippi, just a few miles below lock and dam #1... I had @northwoodsfishing and one of his friends, plus my buddy Jeff and me... there must have been a mass of baitfish in the water because we were catching 8-10# channel cats in 3-15' of water for like 6-8 hours straight. We easily pulled in over 100# of channel and flathead cats plus one 27" walleye that weighed 8#. There were 4 of us in the boat and 2 of us went on to win our local fishing club's catfish contest that year! :) It's unreal... you can't explain to someone else what it's like to be in that kind of feeding frenzy pulling in that size fish for that long. Unreal. Awesome. Best catting night of our lives.

Ty we chartered 2 catfish boats a couple years ago on the Potomac below DC and after a spirited boat competition each boat landed 68 catfish a piece. Our largest was 40lbs.
I’m not big on the sit and wait fishing….but dang! When you’re pulling kitties out like that, count me in!! I’m in Waco and would love to go fish with that guide.

That is insane and ide love to do that. First outfitter I've seen with all left hand reals. I'm a lefty. I love it!! I caught some giant rainbow trout the last few days.

It’s so awkward using a left handed setup as a righty but all my lefty friends use right handed things in general much better… I reckon you lefties just get used to em seeing as basically everything caters to righties
@@SWWonders it's just much easier. Casting and real. I see all these TH-camrs casting with one hand then switch and start realing with the other it's awkward and not very professional you loose a quick bite. Like watch kickin bass. Awkward and to much time and energy. Ty dose cast rite!!

First, also I always wanted to catch a channel catfish but there isn’t that many places I could go in Ontario Canada
I’d rather be fishing pike and small mouth up in Ontario. Catfishing is OK, but it’s more about finding a hole than it is about fishing.
