I stand on Hwy 25/70 and watch tractor trailers, heavy equipment, and semi trucks displaying FEMA move through Hot Springs heading to towns throughout North Carolina, some to Asheville and other towns hit hard by tropical storm Helene. Then, I walk into the center of town and look at the destroyed buildings that sit silent, lonely, along Spring Street. #storm #hurricane #vlog
I think it is still only locals that are allowed in Asheville. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Be sure to subscribe to my channel. Have a pleasant night.
Thoughts and Prayers to all of western North Carolina and East Tennessee it's awesome to see great people come together and help one another and moving faster and better then the government does I pray the people get the help they need. We're praying for yall.
The truck with lights flashing was R J Coreman. railroad contractor. I worked with them to restore rail service in New Orleans after Katrina. 7 miles of rail washed into lake ponchitrain.
I bet it is severely eroded from the water that rose as it moved swiftly along that area. Thanks for commenting. Be sure to subscribe to my channel. Have a Marvelous Monday!
I never been to Hot Springs and lived here all my life across the mountain in Tennessee..Been to Asheville and other parts of North Carolina many times
I spent every summer of my young life in hot springs, my mother was born and raised there and my father was born and raised in spring creek. Two weeks before the storm i was there for a family reunion and we stayed at springbrooke cabins right next to the fire station. I love hot springs. Can you tell me if the big house way up on the mountain is ok. We used to say that was a haunted house when we were young. It’s a beautiful home with a great big fireplace on the front porch. Those mountains call my name I’ll be back soon
I like Hot Springs a lot. It is a good town. I have recorded many videos of hiking and vlogging in this town. Most of the people are welcoming. There are a few who are unfriendly if you do not live in this town. I shrug off the negative people. Overall, it is a nice place to visit.
Every bit of the food and supplies, delivered by 82 and 101 Airborn, all comes from FEMA. FEMA coordinates the response of the Army and All government USAR teams all 27 teams from as far away as Califormia.

Hot Springs is a nice town. I like hiking 🥾 and camping ⛺️ in this area. They have the Appalachian Trail and other nice trails.
Little towns need more help. Boots on the Ground

Blows my mind the kind of stuff people just toss. Those chairs look real nice. Fabric is in good shape. I'd just repaint the wood black.
The fabric was in good shape. Only the left chair needed a small sanding and then a small amount of oil applied to the wood armrest.
bless yall
Thanks.
Great 👍 video buddy tfs

@@BigOvlogger I'm from Greeneville but also lived in Kingsport and Johnson City. I'm in Maryland now and I am a little homesick!
@@donnahankins5899 The homesickness will get better with time.
Looks like all the hot tubs at the spa are gone and the campground probably went under
I agree that the campground was swamped by fast moving water 💦. I am sure that more than likely the hot tubs 🛁 were damaged too.

Internet says Hot Springs is closed to visitors--So we can't even just drive thru that pretty area at Rt 25/Rt70?
They have signs in the roads stating Local Only.
