Im only here because Cody's presentation and voice is pure ASMR relaxation. Don't know anything about speakers or home audio. But whenever theres an upload - automatic watch and like.
Have to agree with your opinions on design, I like the curves on the 3010i's too. The old Diamond 9.1's on my desktop system, can still hold their own in the ring, they know they rule, too cool, their bulletproof, Kevlar drivers, surround the shapely har- nipple phase plugs
Thanks for your vidéo I m french but i can understand you because your voice is very clear and you re not speaking so fast, so it was à pleasure to listening you Hello from Paris
Please review some of the Dali speakers in the budget line. They look very appealing and I was wondering how they compare to Q Acoustics and Wharfedale
Great review as always, Cody! I'm still loving my 3020i and 3030i speakers more than a year after purchasing them. I have considered replacing my cheap desktop speakers with 3010i's but debate whether I might be able to swing a more capable 2.1 grouping at that same price point. Time will tell :)
I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying them. 😁 I think the 3020i is the sweet spot for the line (price vs. performance) but the 3030i is a great upgrade if you can swing it. Do you agree/disagree?
@@HomeTheaterHobbyist I absolutely agree. I originally purchased the 3020i's as replacements for my aging Eosone speakers and went with the 3020i's because of limited space. After incorporating them into my home theater system, I felt I would be better served by using the 3020i's as my rear channel speakers and purchasing the 3030i's as my front left and right speakers (I purchased the 3090ci as well). It was the right call. The 3030i's have so much more depth, richness, and bass. Both speakers are fairly neutral but the additional cabinet and driver size of the 3030i make it the bookshelf speaker to beat at the $400 price point....though I just looked and it appears Q Acounstics has significantly increased the prices of both the 3020i and 3030i....interesting.
@@jamiejwaters Too bad, really, about the price increase. I'm glad Cody's review of the 3030i helped me into deciding on them last year. I was hoping to basically do the same thing you did with a surround set up, but the stock has been pretty spotty in that time.
@@spartansfan1026 it's looking like a $50 increase for the 3020i's, $70 for the 3030i's, and $150 for the 3050i's. Additionally, it looks like they don't have the variety in finishes they had last year. Congratulations on getting them when they were still an exceptional value.
I have got a question Cody 😀 How does this combination sound to you? 3030i LR 3090ci Center Wharfdale WH-DFS on rear wall 2 feet above ear level, in line with front LR as surrounds (Reason: Couch against the back wall and not possible to place surrounds in an ideal way, so Wharfdale bipoles on rear wall)
I love these Wharfedale's ..they pack a real punch..

Very good to watch you have class well presented!
Thanks 🙏🏾
Your review is great, and your voice is very pleasant to listen to...👌
I appreciate that!
Great review! I especially like that you compare speakers by playing music samples, and also suggest what to listen for.
Thanks for watching and commenting 😀
Love my 3020i
The real advantage of bi-amping is that you can adjust the relative balance between the woofer and tweeter

I need to find a Dali representative/distributor here in the US.

I'm debating the 3010i's for desktop use, good addition to you think?

WHat type of music best suit the 12.0 ?
I think they work well with easy listening, jazz, and some electronic.
Go 'head brotha!
Go 'head!
Thank you 🤣🤣
Wharfedale Diamond 12 all day
Won’t they just sound like the speakers your listening through? I never understood this.
Great videos.
The purpose of this sound comparison is for the listener to hear the relative difference between the two.
Do the 12 come with foam bungs for ports in the box?
The pair I had did not come with plugs.

Hi! I think that will work, try to angle the speaker down a little to make sure you can clearly hear the tweeters. 😁
Put the Couch not against the wall.
l have 3020i , 3030i, 3050i ,3020
i love q acoustic
Nice 👍🏾
What do you think about the 3010i in playing just music making it for 2.1 system not used for surround. Thanks
Amazon Canada today Q Acoustics 3010i - $746.12 vs Wharfedale - Diamond 12.0 - $449.00...Wharfedale - Diamond 12.2 today $799.00...
3010i punchy, 12.0 smooth
Depends on what kinda music you like, i ll go with QA.
Thank you Cody.
Thanks for watching!
