I key boardest named Peter picked me up hitch hiking and took me on a 3 week trip with his band the "Herbs" to photograph their gigs. By far ont of the best times of my life was chillen with these guys in the most diverse "Climate" and beuituful land anyone could imagine

i remember listening to them all the time growing up..then one nite, 2 of the guys in the band came home with my mum and dad, one was dilworth, and lead singer joe apparently dad knw them..lol..well there was no sleep for me that nite, i was only 10, listening to them laughing, drinking and singing, one of my fav memories.

i use to live in the humble(rough)town of tokoroa.and had the pleasure of seeing herbs,with this line up, at the trees tavern,then they came up to the local 1%bike club,hu hu mc for drinks later on in the night!
I met Willie Hona by accident one night I was pub crawling and he was performing at the Slipway Hotel one night in Ballina NSW, he just finished a set came out to the sidewalk and lit up a Joint. Very humble guy, I think I still have his business card he gave me he was living in Iluka, I was pretty star struck think he noticed lol.
