I am 72 and still love this song love you Annie God bless... Absolute best of kiwi music .I sure miss those days but God has given me a new chapter in my life
wow!! never get sick of this song, this talented woman is one of the best singer of all times, you go girl ANNIE, represent our pacific island to the whole wide world.
My Dad -Big Mack jammed with the Herbs back in his day. We still have photos and newspaper clippings. Annie and the Herbs will always have a special piece of my heart. -Daughter of Big Mack 💖
Watched the Herbs 40 Year Documentary twice, flying to and from overseas. What a beautiful band, so rich in history. It was amazing to see Dilworth still at it and exhaustively keeping the band together for the 40th anniversary concert. They lost so many more members after filming. Notably, they talk of Charlie Tumahai (1949 - 1995), the lead male vocalist in "See What Love Can Do." it was him and Dilworth that made me think of Herbs.
Voice of the Pacific absolutely...Annie, you always touched me with your music, your soulful music....represent right there...Thank you for the memories...
I honestly think Annie Crummer is best singer of all them. Her voice is so deep, warm and distinctive, an encompassing tone, any song she does by herself or anything she guested in (Netherworld dancing toys, Sonny Day, When the cats away etc) its her voice that shines through the most.
First time heard this By original artist Eric Clapton,,,,, then Annie covered it ,,, with the Brothers from the Hill Gave the song a totally different feel ,,,,I like both ,,,, ,,,,🥝 kiwi guy New Zealand
Lexina Wyatt knows it for what it is,Annie Crummer was absolutely the voice of the night and she was in some very good company with Margaret Urlich ,Debbie Harwood , Shona Laing and Sharon O'Neill on stage with her,FANTASTIC concert
The great country off old new zealand.. so happy i was part of it. Didnt see colour back then. Homes unlocked, left keys in the car. All the anger taken out with your mates on the rugby field. Ha now im a old bloke working in WA. All new kiwis coming over. Dont join unions , dont stand up. My young aussie mate can’t believe them. Thou he loves ‘ never world dancing Toys’
