Uncle George Tumahai - churr! R.I.P! Not sure if Fred the drummer -Willie Hona etc - Tama's still alive last saw him heard of him at a neighbor's house party in Titirangi!
HERBS are to receive today 13th June 2015 a life time award at the Pacific Music Awards, South Auckland NZ. This will be their 3rd such award. Congrats Will 'Ilolahia for your management work with this band.

The first successful local reggae band. Paved the way for modern kiwi reggae artists like Katchafire, Sons of Zion, 1814. In fact one of the best current kiwi reggae acts (House of Shem) is headed by Herbs ex percussionist Karl Perkins and his sons. I remember going to spacies in the early 80s hearing this blasting in the video parlour while trying to conquer Pac Man. Much respect.
Always a great song too help find yourself. Especially for us Polynesian people, with so many toxic poisons easily available in our environment, mind and body. Cleansing our soul helps makes the rest of us follow and complete. Kia kaha
