Well she is pointing a minigun at her boo after kidnapping all of them and ultimately her instincts led her to shoot Silco to protect her sister. Plus poor Zaunites don’t exactly get a handbook on how to talk to their paranoid schizophrenic, manic, serial killer sister.

39:07 it is actually pretty scary. When I was younger, I couldn’t swim very well and was hugging the wall of a pool at a birthday party I was at. I remember getting swept under and losing my grip. The world around you is so quiet as you’re there desperately clawing at the water, pleading for it to listen to you. You lose your ability to hold your breath as you gasp for air; nothing but water sucking into you. Gulping it, still desperate for it to magically be air. The fear of realizing this may be it.
Throwing the water up after you’re saved. So much water. It doesn’t seem to stop. The endless shivering the days following as you need to go to the hospital.
Gotta say, pretty scary.

Heres the thing about Marcus. Almost every one hates him, and i agree. But he is the example of a person who did 1 thing for greed and got inn to deep. That 1 quick cash grab that turned into entrapment.

i can see it. ep 1 is solid and well-made, but feels a little generic and doesn't have the storylines that set Arcane apart from everything else. kind of like HxH tbh
When I recommend the show to people, I make sure to tell them to watch through 3 episodes before making any judgement.

Ekko being the leader of the firelights was surprising for people who don't know anything about LoL, but for those who know, it was obvious the moment we saw the pocket watch. The showrunner even says it in the making of, "the most telegraphed plot twist of all time" (pun intended). It's similar with the other characters who are playable champions (Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Viktor, Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Singed, and that other guy). Whenever they were in danger, we knew they would be "fine" because their stories are far from over, and we know what they become later on. I wonder if it's going to be the same in season 2, since it seems that many characters are much closer to being fully realized.

@@The_Story_Of_Us but then again vi had too watch all their friends and family die in that room, she would've had survivors guilt and definitely shocked up after that and Vander, imo I would've reacted the same as she did if my siblings did that, there's no way I'll find out if she was the cause of their deaths in the span or 5 minutes and first instinct is too comfort her, I'd swing as well and then calm down bc after witnessing that my mind would go into shock
@@The_Story_Of_Usrealistically most people would flee or swing if their sibling did this, I can't see anyone witness a family member die and comfort the person who was the cause, they'll most likely go into shock if they ain't use too seeing bodies of their family or bodies in general
@@diobrando3825 I’m not saying Vi’s reaction isn’t understandable, I’m saying it was a mistake, like inarguably it was a mistake to leave Powder alone there.
And in terms of Vi’s mental health, in isolation walking away from an emptional trigger to compose yourself is a good thing to do, but Vi was so emotional she forgot she was still in a life or death situation and leaving Powder meant putting her in danger. She didn’t just walk away in anger either, it was in shane of abusing her the way she just did, directly breaking Vander’s dying plea for her to take care of her sister.
She needed to just suck it up for another minute, grab her sister by the arm and run, as far and fast as she could. Then she could start to process what just happened.
That’s what she SHOULD have done, that would be the healthy thing to do. But the fact that she didn’t makes her character more relatable, real and flawed and is what makes this story what it is.

Some clarification, The music video Imagine Dragons made for Arcane goes more in depth into Ekko and Powders friendship, that's why he hesitated, he loved Powder but fears Jinx.

Hey scoot! So as someone who had drowned before, I can tell you your body will give you a boost to last for a few seconds, HOWEVER. kinda pointless if you can’t swim, luckily my uncle had pulled me out of the deep end of the pool.
But! Whenever I’ve slid across the road on my skateboard while cars were coming, I did break my arm, the adrenaline kept me from panicking and allowed me to get to home quickly without feeling any pain before the realization had hit me and I went to the hospital for it
