I’m planning to live a month each in both the cities. So far I’ve noticed - the seafront coastline in Da Nang is mostly resorts or brand hotels. While that of Nha Trang also have high rise residential buildings which are on par with 5 star hotels. So getting a proper sea view apartment in Nha Trang is much easier.
I think Da Nang is a vibrant city, with many good services, diverse and delicious food, better coffee, close to 2 world heritages, has mountains and sea, more girls and prettier kkk But Nha Trang is fresher and more peaceful, with beautiful islands around
From Da Nang you can also take the train to the old imperial capital of Hue. It is a 3 hour train ride thru the mountains along the coast and is probably the most scenic stretch of railway in all of Vietnam. Da Nang is nice because it is a proper big city on the mainland and then across the river you have the more tourist and ex-pat orientated "beach town" part which is more like Nha Trang.
Have been checking out DaNang for over a year through videos & love it. Nha Trang is new to me. From what I've seen of it I like it I like it as well. Good video. Thanks for the info. I plan on visiting it both places. 👍🇻🇳
There was a time when Da Nang was considered as "the best city to live" in Vietnam, when it was under the government head officer (same as a Mayer) Trinh Ba Thanh. Before that time, I think Da Nang couldn't compare with Nha Trang as living standard or as a tourist destination.
You can visa-run to all neighbouring countries. Most people head for Thailand or Cambodia. You can take a bus from Sai Gon to Cambodia for example. That would be the cheapest option. Visa runs consist of travel costs like flight tickets + accommodation. Vietnam nowadays offers a 90-day-multiple entry visa. No need to visa-run anymore!!
Until last year Vietnam only issued 30 day e-visas. This forced many tourists to do a visa run either to Thailand or Cambodia, perhaps Laos. Now VN issues 90 day multiple entry visas. This is much more convenient. But of course if your 90 day visa is about to expire then you need to exit the country and visa-run if you want to come back.

I like Da Nang❤
Q; is there a rooftop swimming pool condo near the coast in Nha Trang?
No idea. There are so many hotels and condos, you need to do your own research. I am sure there is...
Yes, don't say "South China Sea"
😉. It's the "East Sea", right?!
i'am VietNames
Đà Nẵng city to live ( number one )

Interesting!
How much is a Visa Run? And where do you go? Is it best to Fly?

@@MinimalistNomadWhen you say no need to visa-run anymore, do you mean you do not need to leave the country to obtain a new visa?

Hello again. I will be in Da Nang in January. Beach and relaxation is the plan for me. Haha
Right on Steve 👍 What else to do...haha
@@MinimalistNomad i will host you when you visit. Lol
👍 Looking forward to Steve!
Thanks for the video! Very informative. It sounds like DaNang wins by a nose! But the lower rents in NhaTrang is certainly appealing 🙂
Yeah, it's a tight race...
But Nha Trang has few destinations around the region like Danang.
Witch ones more affordable
Nha Trang
Which one has the most Russians.
Nha Trang, because it used to be a Russian Naval base
@@MinimalistNomadThen I'm off to DaNang. Thanks for the video.
Haha, ok understood. Enjoy Da Nang👍
@@bikepacker9850 my decision exactly, the fewer of them the better
@@MinimalistNomad Since 2002, there is no longer a Russian Naval base in Nha Trang.
Show the map for location comparison, it would be nice. Thanks
It's not far away from each other that much, for foreigners it's kinda the same
I call Nha Trang the little brother of Da Nang😉
Nha Trang und Da Nang sind beide schöne Städte 🌴🌈🏊🏻🏄🏼🏖🌅🏝☘🌇
