big thumbs up to you for showing lesser known cities in VN.
Good luck with Quy Nhon's climate: super hot in summer with frequent storms, raining/windy in the winter.
I've been to Quy Nhon several times. It's Da Nang without the mass tourism. VERY quiet. The town is super clean, voted the cleanest city in Asia, and it shows. It's ok for a couple of weeks, after that it's boring big time. And the airport is miles out of town, with very infrequent bus service, buses run from a travel agency, which usually waits until there are enough passengers. Bus takes over an hour to get to the airport. You are much better off taking the sleeper Bus from Saigon, or the bus from Da Nang, both dropping you off downtown
I live in HCMC and after watching your video, I’m hoping to go to Quy Nhon soon …
We just spent a week here. It’s a beautiful place. If you want an authentic experience with culture, come. The people are wonderful. Plenty of options with food. And the beaches 15 minutes south are amazing. To enhance the experiences, say hello to the locals. Some are shy! But as soon as you say hello , they open up. We had so many nice people take photos with us .
Been the Vietnam twice thought Da Nang was awesome saw a heap of the country but missed Quy Nhon will check it out next trip cheers
I’m so glad you decided to stick to traveling around Việt Nam. I enjoy the videos so much! Safe travels David! Thanks for sharing!!
hahaha Vietnamese coffee is like doing a line INDEED hahahah. never heard of Quy Nhon, need to get there and enjoy before it turns to Nha Trang and Da Nang! Great video dude!
What a great adventure. I am glad that the places you visited were not over-developed, not teeming with tourists, or having nightclubs all of the place. Safe travels.
Great information, I'd never heard of it.
I'm currently staying at Da Nang and enjoying it very much, you've inspired me to visit Quy Nhon.
ye olde bánh hỏi...I like to call it "question cake"...nothing questionable about how good it is though. love that comment about the guy doing aerobics at the end. and Mini Messi was a g. Great video
It's asking cake not question cake. Because it's use for asking party (a party before wedding).
Excellent program! Great job! So nice to see places I don't know yet.
Appreciate the introduction to the lovely spots of Vietnam. Thanks for sharing David.
Tuy hoa or quy nhon are places that not many people know about in terms of coastal cities. Both places are 30mins away from my hood. Damn it's been so long since ive been back
Love the consistency, wish there was even more vietnam content on youtube!
Thanks for introducing this lovely place that I have no idea existed. It has that Greece vibes tho. Very beautiful
Gosh, I’ve been there for 5 days and did not try it. Love your video ❤
All of VN beaches got many activities n those city has beach also a very developed and dynamic.
Love it! Can’t wait for the next one 👍
I was in Quy Nhon since I was 7 or 8 1968 there’s a sugar can bird roasted I never forget the amazing taste of it I hope they still do have that in Quy Nhon now
Thanks David. Quy Nhon is definitely on my radar for my next visit.
I have been eating Vietnamese since 1965 but now in my doddard years I see I will need new choppers (teeth) to enjoy it.
Wow. That was the year I was born. Time sure has flown.
I was there last year and it was so delicious!
Thanks for sharing new and exciting places in Vietnam! 😃
Visit Vietnam soon 😊
Good show mate, I will put Quy Nhon on my list for next trip.
Each province in Vietnam has a central market, which offers its own cheap, unique and delicious street food. Don't forget to stop by enjoying the specialty of each province. Have fun and be safe!
That would be a new great video content.
This place looks sick man. I’m doing Vietnam solo for 3 months in September. Might be a big ask, but if you’re in vietnam then I’d love to buy you a beer!
I’ll probably have gone by then. Safe travels brother!
Dude, I don’t know how you popped up on my view, but that place is awesome! Not over crowded, great beach! I’m subscribed. And, I’m going to visit there with my family 2024. ❤❤❤
Just what I like. Not tourists. Thanks david
Love Vietnam coffee😊
Quy Nhon has gotten a lot more tourist over the past few years
Nice video of this lesser known city. And those things that look like windmills are called wind turbines. They create electricity by capturing the energy of the wind with every turn of those blades, that’s why you see them in windy areas.
Very nice views David :)
As per my previous comments, I would stay maybe a week in Binh Dinh Province because it has very many Cham towers and a large fortress near its ancient capital of Cha Ban, north of Quy Nhon. Binh Dinh was formerly called Vijaya by the Cham.
It’s an art putting that food together❤
Thanks for these nice views of Quy Nhon, David! I live in Da Nang and will explore a few Viet islands this year, hence me researching Quy Nhon "on the way". Looks nice and perhaps worth a night's stay, it's great to have such videos to help one judge for oneself.
One thing that made me laugh was locals complimenting how "well you speak Viet", LOL. That must've stung a bit hehe ;-)
We're heading there later this year! Super excited and great video!
I will come to Qui Nhon soon. So much fun of watching ur clips. Great job David.
Great guide David!!
Looks amazing! Thank you for sharing this gem, David.
Yeah QN is awesome, beaches are amazing and peaceful during the day, no hawkers or stuff bother you, the VCP don't let over building on the beach so only a few beach bars and the couple of hotel on the beach like the big blue one are scheduled for demo once they can get the owners out as they don't want hotels on the beach they want too keep the beach clean. Awesome place.
We drove by here on our motorbike and I immediately regretted not being able to plan a stop here.
Great vid mate
I drove from Da Nang to HCMC and back and Quy Nhơn was the city that stood out to me the most
The first thing I noticed were how friendly and kind the staff were. The second thing I noticed was the serving staff is wearing Gucci 😂.
Ngon. Love it.
Ah DM Troi Oi, love your videos Bro. Supporting from Venice Beach, CA. Safe Travels, Bro.
Nice .. enjoy your breakfast, but love Hoi An where I live. Guess though, I should expand my travel, even though I have lived many places in Vietnam.
Very beautiful place 🎉❤🎉
Thanks for showing us Quy Nhon
your ray ban shades always reminds me of the first time i watched and how long I have been watching your vlogs
Real og 🙏
Binh Dinh have some of the most amazing beaches in Vietnam in my personal opinion. Degi , the thon Villages..ect.. are some of the great beaches and they are free , unlike Ki Co eo gio.
We went there too early. The Seagull hotel was the only major hotel on the beach there 10 years ago and it was so hot in July it was ridiculous. As usual the food was sensational but go in the winter time.
Thank you for your time and posting. Very nice video and thank you for posting the addresses on Google Maps. Nicely organized. Subscribed. BTW, it is 115 F/46 C degrees today in Las Vegas. :) I'll be visiting VN in October for about 6 weeks to see if I want to retire there. If it works out, which I hope, I'll come back to Oregon, sell everything else, and move. I tried Ecuador, Portugal, and Australia but didn't work out. Thanks again. Question please, there is no tipping, just pay the amount?
Love your video's ❤❤😊
Great place!
really good little video
Visit Vietnam
Windmills don't create wind. That tasty looking offal dish might, though.
😂😂
Ai nói bạn nó ko tạo ra giố
I would have bought everything from that lady at 29:29 ... not sure how you could resist 😂😂
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏
Yeah that looks good 👍🏻 bit of a trial putting it together but worth it,the good thing about not being used to Vietnamese food,it’s just as good not knowing what you’re eating and finding it delicious 🤤
My second comment. That dipping sauce is a recipe I must get.
Welcome to vietnam bro… I too enjoyed this beachside city when I first travelled here 2015… I have to say that Vietnamese foods in Australia is nothing like the real deal here vietnam 🇻🇳.. My opinion only .
Hanoi have many Bánh hỏi lòng heo normal and I guess where you are a slightly different spin.. I’ve traveled all over Vietnam and there is always going to be a different take on a dish.. Xin moi em and enjoy this magical country for culture and real Vietnamese cuisine
Great video. What is your Vlog camera please? Thank you
David will you ever do a meet n greet? Going to VN soon and would love to meet my hero
Heaven
this reminds me of korea.
Nice exploring! Mind telling me your exact cam/mic setup at 11:16?
Thanks! Sub'd!
Class food in Quy Nhon.
Top tier food indeed
Hi David, what licence you use for driving bike in Vietnam?
Extremely limited airport access to other parts of Asia and poor medical facilities make this a deal breaker
Huh? Once there is all of that, that’s missing, you’ll say...Its overcrowded, it’s too expensive....it’s a deal breaker 😂😂. Give yourself a pat on the back, you’re not going any where, you’re too timid!
🙃
Come on, David, Messi is the GOAT.
Ahaha Ronaldo for me
I haven’t been there yet
I will go there one day
that bfast looks sarap, sarap....ah-roy mok mok.
Thank you big daddy 😅 may I buy you a beer wherever your next adventure take you.Take care and safe travels.
😅😂
“Its like doing a line” LOL
The owner shows him what to do and how to eat but actually he knows more than them all
You left your bike unattended like that sooner or later it gone good luck brotha 😁
In quy nhon, You can left it overnight and no one theft.
that city promotes tourism for a reason
nice
What was the name of that small village on the beach in the middle of the video thanks in advance
Not sure exactly, but if you search Eo Gio Quy Nhon on google maps. That area leading into it was the place
Beer thirty
Good-Day Mate from L.A.CA. Good choice to visit this place. Hard to find beaches like that any-more. I will visit this place when I go to Vietnam later this year. I am really impressed with the food in your country. I did not know there were so many choices. They all serve pretty-much the same thing here in L.A. Do you have any plans on re-turning to the Philippines any time soon. I think you were well receives there. Love that country my-self. Safe travels my friend. Tom the Cali.cat.
I’m planning to head back this year, hopefully all goes to plan
Hey David. I'm planed a trip from HCM city to Sapa Norther Of Vietnam. Thank you and have a safe trips bro.!
Safe travels!
2 quid food he ate at restaurant is quite cheap
Great video. You have an aussie accent mate. I bet you from australia.
Melbourne Australia
Spot on haha
The place looks very nice. I like quieter places, but I also like shopping. Does it have a large shopping mall.
There’s a couple big malls, but nothing like major cities
It’s very quiet there. Spent 3 days there in 2022- cheap beach front hotels and cheap food. Super chill. Nice swimming at the main beach.
It’s worth a stop if you are traveling the coast by motorcycle-
Not sure If I would go there if time is a factor. Head to Hoi Anh / Danang. Or south to Nha Trang.
You will get a very Viet experience here. I never saw another white person in 4 days. Except the sports bar owner guy.
All in all, it’s very very relaxing. No one on the beach except in the evening when the locals come to swim
My mouth is watering looking at the delicious food.
quy nhon is our secret lol. damnnn now it's exposed :)))
Bro, that windmill comment. Drugs is hellavu drugs 🤣
But (your) jokes aside: one line or one pill will immediately result in years of prison. If you get caught, bribe the cops af that very moment - $10-20K. If you’re booked in the system, you’re f*cked
😂😂
Ok
The 2 mirrors on his bike
They are really wide
Better take them off
not safe when you ride
Why? it can be stripped
Twisted other bikes and fell down the ground
accident in the roads
8:41 😤🤣
Na you have never done a line mate, no way haha. PS those windmills create electricity haha
😂
Is your stomach used to the street foods? Especially the drinks with ice in it
Yeah definitely used to it, haven’t got sick in the last 2 years
But... what about the cost difference, for apartments especially, that is critical....
😂😂😂😂 8:37
He paid 1 quid ticket to visit Qui Nhon
in London like that is 40 quid
The windmills ruined it.
Forget Quy Nhon, come to Phu Yen !
Danang beach ⛱️😍
How hot is it? In centigrades, please.
30 plus I’d say, but the coastal cities make it feel much cooler
You have a strong Australian accent, are there many Russians in Quy Nhon, I've heard there are quite a few in Nha Trang
I didn’t see any. Saw heaps in Nha Trang though
👍✅🙀✅👍
