Virtual DJ is the most stable and advanced DJ software. Others prefer the other DJ software because of marketing -> Pioneer or Serato Name..... the don't look at features but just want to have the logo "Serato" and "Pioneer" at gig. lol. But VirtualDj is the best. (But the name Virtual is not good :) ) they have to change the name or Pioneer have to buy VirtualDJ and not use Juced team developpers... Denon can buy VirtualDj too..... it would be great

I have both software SDJ pro and VDJ pro Vdj is miles ahead more advance than SDJ BUT I am an old skool DJ so I prefer SDJ to dj with because they far behind in development ( in my opinion ) and every thing is basic on my Mc 7000 VDJ is to busy for me to many things happening . If software were vehicle Sdj would be the classic car and Vdj the latest version (
Paolo Concina I’m the same ... serato from the beginning. Just got a pioneer xp2 controller ... changed everything .. loaded up Rekordbox which is free with xp2 and haven’t turned back as can still use dvs via the sl3. Just needed to added an audio interface with 4 outputs to enable records to be played alongside the digital songs.
VDJ is always on the cutting edge, since 2005! The best dj platform. I also like serato, but its such a drag when i'm travelling to always have to figure out if my serato will work wth whatever set-up is at the club. VDJ works with EVERYTHING. This STEM feature is all included, when Serato comes out whit it , you know its gonna be as an extra $$ plug-in.
VDJ was never looked at as the main player with rekordbox and serato arnd and anyone using VDJ was considered amateur, glad i stayed on and did not move to anything else coz these guys really work hard at hearing out grievances and implementing it without a fuss. Way to go #VirtualDj
I just started using VDJ with my Numark Mixstream Pro and it works so well, I’m just glad I can do most things with both of them either Mac or Standalone…this helped me a lot, thank you!!!
when i open virtual dj it shows the stems loaded, but soon as i drag a track on the platter, it changes back to regular eq ,and when i open the dashboard to load the stems it wont
I've been using vdj for some time now, first started using it ten years ago, I love this new stems feature, especially when live mixing online, I find that using the eq for the stems works great especially to stop the underwater effect about 90% of the time. I can't wait to see what VDJ has in store for us next.:)
Great feature. I often do live act and sing during a song. Now I can easily cut a vocal and sing it by myself. Also mashups will be much easier to do and generally great innovation. I see that VDJ can compete with Serato or Rekord Box now without any hung-up. I use VDJ for over 10 years and I'm really proud that this program still develop and gives new innovative features.
@@digitaldjtips I had a pretty good work shop with the crew, most tracks pre 90's without vocal feature just instrumental isn't great quality as expected due to early release but new digital tracks work very well. Can't wait to see next couple of versions. loving it!!! Great JOB
First Djay, Now Virtual DJ, waiting for the big boys Rekordbox and Serato to do it, I tried it on my iPad Pro yesterday and it is unbelievable how easy it is to mix with it.
I think its interesting that Algoriddim claims to need the ARM processors from the iPad/iPhone to make this AI technology work, meanwhile 2 days later VDJ comes op with a computer based version of this feature which sounds the same with a normal processor. This being said I’m very happy that VDJ came up with this, because now the other players like Denon, serato and rekordbox know its possible to put this in standalone units like the Prime 4, which means its not gonna take long before we will be able to use this in live sets at clubs. Well I've just had a play with Stems and it brought goose bumps out my hairy arms..... This feature is proper sick :) People will have to pay attention to this.... Excellent stuff!

Great feature! Traktor/NI ´s idea years ago was always addicted to existing stems - which never have been available on interesting/well known tracks of the past 30 years. This changes the game completely! Now I can do stems on the fly to my favorite tracks the crowd recognizes. Hope Serato follows...

Every DJ since Thomas Edison has thought about this! Even considering the limitations and the issues with audio quality (if this VDJ stems "sound" was released as new effect, we might like it ;-)!) - this is a serious game changer. Kudos to VDJ.
Pioneer already has vocal recognition in RB DJ so it can't be that far off the algorithm the other uses. If I remember right, they all require a certain function called AVX built in to the CPU to work. In short, AVX were introduced in 2011 and most Intel i-series cpu's and the AMD Bulldozer and later series have this, but if you want to be sure, check the specs of your specifik CPU. Also, the use of AVX instructions can cause the cpu to run hotter than usual and cause it to throttle or limit the boost clock. If your CPU tends to run hot this is something to be aware of.
Looks amazing.. this kind of algorithm could maybe be used to remove unwanted noise from vinyl.. sorry if i missed something.. there was a clicks and pops removal option on software like sound forge on about 2000 but wasn't very good.. maybe now in 2020 software can remove vinyl crackle and rumble..
So there is finaly something that make me consider leaving Traktor... I'll wait a few month to see if they coming with something new, but their stems format was the only feature that was keeping me on using Traktor, but this, it's something else (no more need to use an external tool to create stem files)

Except for playing my own multi-tracks out of Ableton I always wanted to spin from the decks and never had any interest in DJ software. This changes everything!
Sir i need your help if it is possible. I'm using virtual dj software with pioneer ddj-sb console, when I'm playing may be in 15 - 20 min the music get distorted for 2 -3 sec. I don't know why? I tried with other softwares also still same issue.

It can be seen /heard as its own effect! 😉😉. Honestly I don't think it'll get much better than this. It's already a feat in technology as it is.
It sounds weird when there is just 1 song playing but when you have 2 it sounds just fine.
The isolation will never be perfect based on mastering of tracks but the vocal extracts over loops and instrumentals are now easier than ever...

so to be fair, they had this feature in earlier versions of the software back in the day, but it's really useful now with the way it's integrated.

More accessible, yes. But.... Traktor stems is greatly more powerful and allows for more creativity. I get it tho, apples vs oranges.
Hey Phil - after hearing your mention Neural Mix on Thursday live questions I’ve been having a look for software to let me make easy acappellas. What would you recommend? I’m a reborkbox user using the XDJ-RX2. Ideally would like to have these exported onto USB! Will be picking up the James Hype course this pay day, so holding off purchasing any software before learning the course! Thanks once again
Well why not try out Neural Mix? There are others like Izotope RX and Xtrax Stems
