    What is the person who identifies with, due to genetic inheritance, multiple racial and ethnic identities? She can’t “other” herself so would she consider herself, by your definition, as an ally of herself?

    From Wikipedia: "An alliance is a relationship among people, groups, or states that have joined together for mutual benefit or to achieve some common purpose, whether or not an explicit agreement has been worked out among them.[1] Members of an alliance are called allies. Alliances form in many settings, including political alliances, military alliances, and business alliances. When the term is used in the context of war or armed struggle, such associations may also be called allied powers, especially when discussing World War I or World War II."
    Sounds like Marxism to me.

      And what is your definition of Marxism?

    • @civlengr68
      @civlengr68 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @ Simple. Marxism argues that class struggle between the bourgeoisie (capitalist class) and proletariat (working class) drives societal change (i.e. oppressor vs. oppressed) Marxism advocates for a revolutionary transition from capitalism to socialism, ultimately leading to a classless, communist society with collective ownership of production.

      Marxism centers on the idea of class struggle, where society is divided into two main classes: the bourgeoisie (capitalists, victimizers, oppressors) who own the means of production and the proletariat (workers, victims, oppressed) who are exploited. Marxism argues that this conflict will lead to a revolution, resulting in a classless, stateless society called communism, where resources are collectively owned. Because the context of the video implies that there are victims that are oppressed, they must gather together and fight the oppression. Simple.

    I feel like allyship is just another in the long, sad line of corporate, big business buzzwords that are just BS. All it really is, is just a fancy was of yet again saying "Can't we all just get along?"

      Why can’t you stand in front of the community? Isn’t that what leaders do?

      @@gettingcalledoutontwitteri1882 Democrats do this to blacks all the time. Democrats take the mic from black people and tell black people you are harmed and only white democrats can help you mainly white female Karen democrats. Democrats think that blacks cannot do things without their help...Democrats think black people are soo stupid and cannot get an ID Card to show when voting. White Democrats put these affirmative actions laws in place because white democrats think black people are dumb and lower standards in getting jobs.
