Good evening Tom Great looking combine that. Good luch with ethe steam rally hope all goes well. Your good lady is doing a great job learning new farming skills you better watch out or you will be doing the housework soon
Great vid, again! You should think about coming over to Ireland for the Ploughing Championships, you'd have a ball!! Hope the weather holds off for the show this weekend, best of luck!
The farm where I used to work had a Massey Harris tractor hooked to the blower for the bulk grain dryer. Then two things happenerd, someone got to hear about the MH and offered silly money for it and a pair of Typhoon fans came up at the right price. The MH went of to a better resting place (it lived in a small shed next to the grain barn when it was working) and I got to help install the new electrical supply to the drying shed. I don't know what the old MH fan setup was rated at but the Typhoon fans were 40HP each. The new fans were easier to run too. No lugging cans of diesel to the MH anymore and a lot less noise too. Hopefully the MH is still doing shows somewhere.
I remember taking one of our older tractors to a show. Some blokes were very enthusiastic about it. "These were a great machine! How long do you think it will be before you finish restoring it?" Me: "Nah mate, this one's a working machine. Want to see footage of it running an irrigation pump last week?" Reactions were 50/50 between delight at seeing and hearing the old girl working, and horror that it's not a show princess.
Always like to see a bit of good ploughing, too many these days just sling over the top with no care what it looks like, stubble and weeds stood up everywhere. Good Ploughing is a the best weed control we have.
That old red Combine was just historic and so well preserved. I liked the pan finish on the slab, tyre grip should be high. So Concrete and no Cat. Lucky again. Thanks tom....
Can you add a link for the event, it just took me several minutes of scanning the video to find the still with the address on it? Might make more people come along
@Tomlamb980 I've been lucky to see them at various steam rallies, ploughing matches but also dredging a lake over at Bockleton. The one was under steam whilst the other had an engine conversion. Don't ask me what as was years ago.

Emily is doing well Tom. She’s going to be a great help for you. Farmer and sandwich maker 😂. Ripper teeth are handy to have around.

Excellent video Tom - look forward to seeing some footage of the working weekend!
Having stayed at similar cabins a wood fire hot tub would really top it off Tom

Love to see the Maximum Power Arm Flex there for the ploughing!
It'll be great weather both days of enough think it'll be great weather.
hi tom you should put a blower off a hedge cutter on your mower or 2 😉
Love to see the ploughing engines at work, something else!
You want a Makita twin 18v blower mate. They’re the nuts for blowing grass away.
Great video Tom and definitely more power required on the batwing mower and the yard is going to look completely different when you have finished 👍👍
Might see you tomorrow buddy the weather be alright
Looks likely rain next week, good luck with concrete Tom and love a bit of vintage harvesting 🌾 Hot tub 🛀 yay 🎉
Construction farming and Emily farming, pst tell Emily it's a furrow not a ditch. Carry on Farming
Maximum power... now we're farming 😂
dont forget a pull rope in your duct! hell lot easier put it in as you go.
I will hopefully be there tomorrow if it doesnt rain too much
Good morning
Really like your videos! So when are you gonna do an introduction to farming hands on day? Lol I wanna drive a tractor!
Soon!
Hi Tom. How come you are removing the old concrete only to lay more? Is the old concrete not good enough to drive on?
No it’s all cracked and dusty

That's twice now there has been no Concrete Cat, I suspect foul play......
You have a lovely and very good wife, sir. I'd be jealous, but I, too, have a lovely and a very good wife. 😊
You are so kind
No cat paw prints ?
10:00 great content again
Great video as usual, been watching your Mrs channel aswell, it's good to see both points of view regarding farming life ❤
Thanks 👍
