As an expandacraft owner I can say it is worth the asking price, it is a quality product and leads me to the conclusion that in most instances these boats are superior to kayaks and it is subjective but I believe they're a safer option as well and depending on the setup will have a heavier payload these outriggers pay for themselves eventually if you're a outdoors enthusiast.

Glad to have enough of you guys who see the value in my product to keep me in business for the last 15 years.

Love your work mate. Do you ship to Australia?

I ship all over the world, but for AU, I'd simply give you the size of the boxes to be shipped and you find the shipping agent. It's just too much work for me to do when 90% of the guys asking, aren't actually buyers. Maybe one day I'll have a distributor there, working on it, but no idea yet.

Each piece takes 45 minutes of cooking, but how many pieces at the same time are cooked? Either way, it's still expensive in my opinion, since my Brooklyn tandem kayak was bitten by a shark and perforated, this is the same type of plastic.

Only one part at a time because I only have one mold for each part. As for the price, many people think my product is a deal being that Hobie asks $7.000 and more for a fishing kayak. Many other yaks are over $2,000 to $3,000 so my 16 footer at $1900 is a fraction of that. Has worked for me for 15 years now.

well it is a fukkin shark bro and instead of buying a new rig(kayak) just call Wesley for a replacement segment that was damaged which is probably cheaper fix.

The main reason manufacturers embrace automation is to reduce human handling which can induce error and effect quality control. So, the question is how can your process go from a human handling it 6-7 times to 1-2 times.?

When I get robots that can stack the parts in my transport trailer, then take them out and stack them in my storage trailer, then take them out of the storage trailer one buy one to order, then visually inspect the part, then build a box, then put the part and required small parts in the box without going over the weight limit, then tape and shrink wrap the box, then put the labels on the correct box, then put the box in my truck, then take the box t of my truck and hand it over to the UPS store..... Wait, I'm leaving out a few steps. You get the point, I'm a small time business and I only have two hands. The manufacturing of the part is only one small part of the handling.

I'm looking through your videos, I see the middle sections with either a thru-hull w/ spacer or these brass inserts that you are holding. What is the current design? Is one better than the other? Thanks!

I still have a few of the old style parts, but the new ones will be the norm now. The through slot was a good idea to allow you to put the PVC pipe down low for a sit on top configuration. However, so few people used them that way and almost all chose risers. So when I needed to refurbish the molds and learned it would cost 40K more than changing it to the new design, it was a no brainer. Still spent 30K, but the new parts are less likely to develop a leak, and the new formula and added 1/2 lb of plastic makes them even more durable than the original which was still very tough.

350 times is not the same as 350%? If 350 times then a part that cost $10 would then be $3,500.
