Love the boats, and been in communication with polycraft Australia for years about them. Sad to see the affordable pricing didn't make the trip over the ocean with the hulls.
Over $25k with a trailer and trolling motor for a 4.1 meter boat is not cheap. I guess if you compare them to a beavertail or sterling flats boat maybe, but this is no high end flats boat.
Offer a center console for $15k and it would be affordable in its class.
Super sad to see these over price themselves out of the US market.

I was fortunate enough to be on hand when a friend who owned a Triumph 190 Bay boat and could no longer use it due to illness offered it to me for about a quarter of the price he paid and he hadn't used it all that much so when he decided to pass it on it was in like new condition with an equally like new 150 Evinrude motor. I've used my Triumph on Narragansett Bay every weekend during the season for the last 3 years and I can honestly say that all I have to do is pull it once ever month or so to pressure wash it and it goes right back in the water. For me its the perfect size, fast as hell and way more economical than the FS242 Formula that I had previously. Its a shame that Triumph is no longer made as I think its the best boat on the water.

fun fact my 35 foot mother ship has a 4.1 challenger tied to one side and a tuffy tied on the other when you step into the tuffy from the duck board it is more stable then doing the same with the challenger. the challenger is more stable the any alloy boat to say 5 meters of the same hull design.
but cant compete with the stability of the 3 meter tuffy.
      stupid I know.
I dont like the new nose on the tuffy as it seems to have far less buoyancy and due to this, most waves come over the front something the old tuff tender never did in the same sea with small engines size.
could be it needs a lager engine to make up for the loss of buoyancy.
the new nose shape is clearly for better hi speed performance

those boats are probably really bad riding in choppy water..........you have to have length and some weight for the hull lip for choppy water rides to be comfortable...you all need to build a bass rig with the longer lips and hull designed to cut through waves, when are you all going to build a bass rig and have it setup just like a bass rig - rod storage, running live wells, etc.......

IMO, this boat isn't worth it at all, and is a ripoff... you can get a 14-16 ft fiberglass skiff hull for about 3-5k, drop on a tiller, add a trailer, gps/fishfinder, battery, and gps, and you're at like around 8-12k. look up bucanneer skiffs, exactly like a boston whaler but more affordable and you can build it like you want.

i have one, they do porpoises if you dont trim in, then trim out to find limit before that happens keep fuel and water up front to stop this.
I got mine from a crabber here in Australia its every faded so dont believe the bullshit that they dont get sun damage they can and do.
mine has had a very very very hard life,... 2007 model.
would I recommend one, yes I would, but get it foam filled to survey standard, as while they are neutrally buoyant they will still sink like a stone ,from the weight of the crew and outboard.
can not count how many times my tuff tenders have swamped so that the engine in underwater so might as well be sunk.
my new tuffy has full foam to survey standard. as I feel it will stop the floor cracks that plagued the tuff tenders.
would I recommend a tuffy hell yes, best thing since sliced bread, just dont believe all the bullshit.
use common sense and they are great.
if it sounds like bullshit ,it always is.
