- RaagMala by SANGAM is a garland of Ragas, the common thread of which is the Supreme Feminine Spirit. Composed by Dr. Avinash Kumar, RaagMala explores the various facets of Devi as Durga, Maheshwari, Saraswati and so on. The beauty of the composition lies in how the composer had weaved the names of the different Ragas into the lyrics.
For us at SANGAM the process of creating this track has been fun filled and challenging. As a bunch of solo musicians, doing group performances requires for us to set aside our individual preferences and idiosyncrasies and more so for this track because of its dynamic nature. In this process of weaving Ragas together, we as a group have woven ourselves together as well.

Sangam is a team of creative, sensible and hard working people who know how to derive the meaning of lyrics along with the raga. Recording live is not an easy job! Kudos to the team!
