Oh so beautiful! Maa chamke bijuria asthayi is a Gwalior Gharana special, I had first heard this bandish rendered by Pandit Balwant Rai Bhatt who was a student of Pandit Omkarnath Thakur at BHU Vishwanath temple. Later in IIT Kanpur, Pandit Kashinath Bodas also use to sing this very fondly.
Raag Megh janyam of 10th KAAFEE THAAT தாட் ताट. Corresponding Carnatic Raagam is Madhyamaavati janyam of Melakarta number 22 Kharaharapriya. Excellent group. Could have sung/played for little more time. May Swami bless all these artists to get more such good opportunities to achieve a great position in the field of music. Sai RAM🙏🙏🙏

When, at the beginning of a monsoon, a cloud perches on the peak, he asks it to Deliver a Message to his love in the Himalayan city of Alaka. Most of the poem, composed in an extremely graceful metre, consists of a description of the landmarks, cities, and sights on the cloud’s journey to Alaka. Meghaduta inspired Friedrich Schiller’s play Maria Stuart.
