Hey! I didn't think of that. They have found a way to suppress both rifles with a "minor modification." Careful not to get concrete inside the barrels or it will explode.
Civil engineer here. That is not the regular concrete you guys see used in infrastructure. It is cement paste which is a lot weaker and easier to break. The difference is that unlike actual concrete, it doesn't have any course aggregate (larger pieces of rocks) in it.
Also, there's no good frame showing how deep into the mortar the barrel is sitting. Cracks need to start somewhere, and if that sat half an inch from the top of the mix, and let's imagine a small air void left by putting Saran wrap or something to keep the barrel clear during curing, that would make the rupture seen very much more likely. I'm sure if the mortar got into the barrel, the end of the barrel sat four inches into the mortar, you wouldn't even need a full concrete to blow up the barrel. It's probably green mortar too. I'd guess less than 24hr strength.
As a civil engineer let me explain. Concrete has lot of strength in compression. BUT, when the shot is fired a huge air pressure is generated in the centre of concrete, thus creating a tensile force all around the centre (hoop stress) , AND concrete very very weak and brittle in taking tension forces, that's why we use steel reinforcement in concrete. Do the same Experiment with rings of steel wires/bar around the core. It won't break. It will crack but take it completely.
Concrete cracks at the easiest point of relief. By sticking the barrel into the middle he created a weak point. Now the force only needs to break 6" in any direction to break. Like the original commenter said, add rebar rings tied together cross-ways with straight rebar around the perimeter would be a different story. Also increase the dimensions of the concrete mass to 4' round by 4' deep... and if you really want to go crazy, dig a 4'x4'x4' hole in the ground as your form instead of a 5 gallon bucket. The concrete may crack, but wont fail. The barrel however.... no guarantee
Зато китайцы именно калаши подделывают , а не их арки. Китайцы знают толк в оружии и знают , что во всем мире ценится. Уже сам факт подделки - показатель .
If you look at the rifles, you can tell that they put plastic wrap on the bottom of them. I believe they did this so the concrete would not get inside the barrels and solidify. That reason, and the reason being so that they could reuse those rifles later, and them not completely being destroyed! Because I’m pretty sure that the barrel being full of concrete would cause the bullet to explode inside…causing a catastrophic failure and the barrels looking like something off of Looney Tunes after they pulled the trigger! But why do I know? I have more sense than to just stick a weapon in a 5 gallon bucket of concrete and then try to pull the trigger!
That AK in a peace of concrete is a peace of art; literally! It was a scolpire that was an AK in a Brick, resembling the sword of Arthur and the round table
@@ok_8441Yeah, the AK stole alot of design cues and almost all the inner workings from the the STG 44. If I recall correctly the design prototype Kalishnikov used had the butt stock from an STG.
Concrete has pretty bad tensile strength (it can be pulled apart easily), but really good compression strength. With the force coming from inside the block, its not a huge surprise it would shatter. I’m just surprised the barrels didn’t get clogged up by cement mix
Also, thinking about the way cracks propagate and spread, which IMO contributes to the rifles getting ejected backwards. I wonder how this would look if the guns were secured in place…
That thought crossed my mind, but it's probably because the portion of the barrel most likely to bloom was contained by the concrete just long enough for the concrete to fail.
Had they not wrapped the muzzles in plastic before embedding them in the concrete, and wet concrete would have gotten into the muzzles and hardened, they probably would have.

Concrete has minimal tensile or outward strength which is being applied in this video. Without rebar concrete is meant to withstand force pressed down upon it
it also looks like it was dried under the sun and was not correctly hydrated nor vibrated, because there is a lot of bubbles on it, if they would have used well made armored concrete the weapon's barrel would have open like an umbrella...or completly vaporized.

That's not concrete, it's just cement. There is no aggregate, only cement. Adding aggregate to cement makes it significantly stronger.
dont forget rebar or polymer reinforcement
Thank you! This is going to be very useful to me as someone who often gets encased in concrete by the mafia.
Not only water proof but mob proof
Concrete has minimal tensile or outward strength which is being applied in this video. Without rebar concrete is meant to withstand force pressed down upon it
Guys, I'm not an expert, but as far as silencers go, I don't think this design will take off.
Why women live longer than men
Where is the life threatening danger here that would lead you to make that assumption?
Why men are happier than women
@@MysticXX true but I don't see myself happy than any other girl/women I know

Next week on answers to questions you would never ask 'Can Ice Cream Be Used As Tile Adhesive?"
no
They say that the man who can pull the Kalashnikov from the stone will be the next Czar of Russia.
Nice job doc this boy is always ready.
I’ve never wondered what would happen in this situation, and now I don’t have to lol.
That’s just mortor not concrete
it also looks like it was dried under the sun and was not correctly hydrated nor vibrated, because there is a lot of bubbles on it, if they would have used well made armored concrete the weapon's barrel would have open like an umbrella...or completly vaporized.
I was going to say what "concrete" did they use. There are many different kinds and purposes.
First of all that's not ak47 because the real name is akm the second thing is that's not even a ak thats a zastava m70
Here before all the bots with the NSFW PFPs.
Man, the voice of the guy that born ready is great
Well hell I’m glad we have this valuable info now. How have we gone so long without it 😂
The most Russian thing I ever saw
I don’t know if there Russian if I’m wrong correct me
"will *rifles* work stuck in concrete"
*Proceeds to show a shotgun*
bro closed his eyes for the first half of the video
Let's be honest. If you manage to get your rifle stuck in concrete, you shouldn't be allowed close to a firearm ever again
And if you were in a gunfight at a construction site?
@@tonystark701 Probably shouldn't be shooting the construction workers then
@@FridgeV5 They started it. lol.
'Will rifles work stuck in concrete?' The question that we have all been meaning to ask.
Official Duck Studios did this as well. Its a very funny video
Actually insane to pick it up and test fire
He said FIRE IN THE HOLE 🕳️🕳️🕳️ 🔥🔥🔥
This guys accent switches from Russian to American and then back to Russian
No way bro said FIRE IN THE HOLE 🗣️🔥🔥🔥 frfr
I love how I always know it’s gonna be an Edwin clip before I even click on it 😂
please add video of what you did to clean up the barrels and restore them back to original condition
No shot he did that haha. I'm sure they'll be used for more experiments
He has so much money, if anything he didn’t bother or had someone clean them for him.
Besides, look closely, he saran wrapped everything before putting it it in the concrete
King Aurther been real silent ever since these dudes removed, *The Ak in the Concrete*
