Great video I didn't actually even know how 360 cameras worked, still kinda amazed how those tiny lenses get a 180 degree view though. Was very interesting to watch and was very clear, you could give a lot of tutorial channels a run for their money. 👍
Probably the most useful video for me I've seen. I use the onex2 and never thought about a second mounting point. Genius. I use mine gopro helmet mount style too by just setting it to 150. Either way Andy from Smort on the c2w podcast saying this is awesome.
I've been running one on the side of my Barkbusters on my bikes and on the front bumper of my sled. Really adds a lot of depth to videos. Thanks for pioneering this stuff Jake!

Excellent video, Jake! I was hoping to use a 360 cam and selfie stick to video my tehnical enduro riding so I could critique my form and whatnot. Looks like that's impossible given how far the selfie stick would have to stick out and there'd be no way to stabilize it when trying to go over logs and rocks. Thanks for reality check!
great video muh dude. I was wondering how you could edit in post with 360 cams. You should get a small gps drone that can follow or circle you for open off road.
I use a Combination of Cameras; a Chin Mounted GoPro and I have a Insta360 One X2 and a One R. Have you ever tried to Export a 360 Video that you have not reframed/added Key Frames to? I recently tried it, and even with a fast Computer it takes FOREVER, but it allows the Viewer to actually control the View of the Camera...instead of you choosing what you want your Viewers to see (by adding Key Frames). Give it a try sometime, if you haven't already done so. Just make sure the Video is no more than a few Minutes long just to get an idea of just how long it takes to upload.

They LITERALLY ask the question, expecting to be personally answered. Each and every one. They pay no attention to comments, nor do any sort of research on their own.
10 years ago the consumer 360 cameras were rubbish though, it is only really since the Insta360 One X and GoPro Fusion where they have been of a reasonable quality to be useful

I knew about these 360 camera's up until now I thought they were masked out in their software. Makes sense now lol

Well you have to use the insta360 editor to get the 360 footage sorted, but then you can use whatever
