Shes done it. She can converse with the sims fluently

Bandaklar. Ashinkala toblé!
lmao
as a sim, I can confirm our people were very moved when she merged the arizonan pencil three-folded into the computer’s baby pillow
She didn’t just hit every note, she beat the shit out of them. Declared dead at scene
The notes were written after what she sang but yea, she killed it.
No joke!
Haha
ha HAHAHAHA
Ah thanks
Also this is what all women sound like when they speak
You realize it's improvised right?
@@Pughhead even more impressive that she kept rhythm while freestyling
I went to a funeral with her. She sang to the corpse and he rose from the dead. Incredible talent
I can't stop laughing, seriously!
Amen

😂
😂👍🏾
I went to Mars with her - she bebop'd for the whole 6 month trip through space.
What an amazing talent.
😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣 AND, she carried both of you, still singin' and dancing straight to the Earth !
Did she say: "See you Space Cowboy!"?
damn that's crazy
She sang the doom song?
@@Jed_the_Malamute Haha! Good one 😎😎😂😂👍🏻👍🏻

I went to highschool with this girl, she was incredibly talented then and has only gotten better since!
I went to college with her! Small world haha
Do I spot a linux profile picture?
I also went to school
Did she ever shut up?
Yeah, I remember back in the day when I used to go to the kindergarten with this girl. She used to cry such beautiful melodies when someone would take her toys from her.
As talented as she is, I'm here for the comment section and all those fortunate to share experiences with her in high school, med school, kindergarten and even a womb (my personal favourite) ... 🤣
This 😭
🤣👏
I remember when we went to the same rehabilitation clinic, absolutely madness when she threw a big Mac at a nurse, because it had pickles on it.
I was deconstructed in a one dimensional infinity with this being. She could sing in 2 dimensions back then and is already singing in 3 today wow!
hahaha best one yet!
Hot damn she can control her volume like a computer
Making optimal use of the microphone range too.
beep beep boop boop!
She almost has no dynamic range what are you talking about? What she does is impressive musicianship-wise, but technique-wise it isn't. Her voice lacks development and it is small.
It's almost like someone is engineering the sound maybe somewhere off stage 🤔........
@@jordob5791 sound engineering doesn’t work like that.
I was in the newborn unit with this girl. All of us newborns tuned our crying to hers. She was incredible.
Well I was in utero with her. Glad to see she's outgrown the fetal metal she was into back then. Still hasn't kicked that infantile gibberish though, old habits die hard.
WaTF 🤣
Bahahahah
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for that comment
Took me a moment
I was in the same nursing home as her. During our free time us old folks would gather to hear her sing. She sounded just as great as she does in this video.
Amazing. My favorite part was when she said "IT'S BEBOP TIME" and killed everyone on stage with the microphone. It looked so realistic! Bravo, Vince.
So long space cowboy.....
Went to college with her, she used to have a death metal band. Incredibly versatile and talented person!!
We want the lost EPs
Hail! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Oh I went to group therapy with her. She used to say she had a problem with complete strangers saying they know her from somewhere.
Whats her name?
@@user-jt2ws5lk4s veronica :)
The odd rhythms and chords and her ability to change keys over those changes is not just impressive, it's incredibly difficult.
She didn't change keys. Same key, different chords.
You missed the point mr. pedantic.
The terms matter, they express different concepts and skills.
BLAH BLAH BLAH. Who cares???
Exactly
Used to bowl league with her. She would literally do 5 backflips after every spare. it wasn’t necessary but everyone loved her for it.
She hits the changes so damn hard. Huge props.
went to med school with her, she used to eat grilled cheese and do backflips during surgery! amazing talent
No cap 🤣
Im so glad too see my niece/granddaughter also I'm a cat have friend's:3
This is extreme 😂😂😂😂
she use to be my neighbour, she always use make gluten free banana muffins and do cartwheels on her Yorkshire terrier that her uncle from Scotland gifted her as a kid
I shared a womb with this girl, she was talented even back then
You win the "I knew this girl back when ..." prize. :)
PS: I didn't know she was an octuplet.
lol :-). Best ever : "I was there" story!
Is that you my long lost triplet? I was in the same ball with her. 🥚
Your her twin??
Dang, what was it like spooning with her for 9 months? You musta had the worst case of blue balls in human history.
Went to music school with this girl. I had a nasty habit of moving my head along to other singers' scatting back then. Hers broke my neck. Somehow I'm ok with that. Amazing talent!
That’s some of the cleanest scatting I’ve ever heard. You know they’re a musicians musician when they can do stuff like this with their instrument

@@rustywidebottom4678 She had me at “bibidobi dobap” instead. How captivating indeed.
so you know italian...
Ikr, but I’m pretty sure she said “scoop” instead of “boop” one time
The lyrics were eye opening for me. I almost want to hear them all again by pressing the buttons on my microwave over and over.
I went to school with her we once seen her take down a brick wall with her voice range incredible.
That's nothing brother, I saw her take down an entire Castle.
This is absolutely incredible, but I can’t stop thinking about how much this sounds like something I’d hear in the Sims 4
I just keep getting blown away seeing people born relatively recently in the grand scheme of things who can still keep these classic forms of art alive. She’s a brilliant scat singer and that’s a skill I didn’t even know people still had nowadays!
Please don’t call jazz a classic form of art. 😩
@@jazzman2516 I said “classic,” I didn’t say “ancient.”

I would love to see that. I love NIN covers. Miley did a great job too.
@@finleyburns4918 I think I have a portion of it somewhere, I'll do some checking
was it at the hollywood bowl?
What an ear on this lady!! There are some wildly difficult intervals and harmonic transitions in her singing.
This is the superior singer with the last name Swift and you can't change my mind
The double bassist's face depicts pretty well how I feel about this
I was searching for someone who noticed 😂
The scatting is so smokin', he's sweating just from the thermal radiation.
Wow! The similarities between her style and Ella Fitzgeralds is uncanny - so good to see vocalists following in the footsteps of a master, and so faithfully, too.
For real. I’m not even very familiar with Ella Fitzgerald, but this screamed Ella Fitzgerald to me.
eyes closed, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
Y'all have never listened to Ella
@@jimhim585 If you haven't, I wholeheartedly implore you to take a listen to Ella's live performance of "How High The Moon" in Berlin, 1960. Many of the melodic ideas found in that recording are very similar to the ones used in Véronica Swift's performance here. Take a listen, I think you'll be able to hear it too.
@@jimhim585 Not true. I’ve listened to Ella Fitzgerald at least four or five times, and I’m pretty sure that makes me an expert.
I went to kindergarten with her, she sang all of amazing grace in b flat minor, she’s only gotten better since!
met her in the deepest pits of tartarus, shes improved since this video and can now sing her original "Please Let Me out of this Hellscape, What Did I Do To Deserve This" for hours on end!
Man you can HEAR Ella's influence. Love thissss
Janice Siegel's too.
She knows who Anita O´Day was, too ;)
As soon as she started the scatting portion, I immediately was reminded of Ella! So smooth, so precise, so perfect!
I love that you didn’t even have to specify who “Ella” is. We just KNOW cause she’s THAT influential
Absolutely
Staff: one trumpeter couldn't make it today, we need him for the solo
Vocalist: don't worry, I got this
Holy shit. Her pitch confidence is insane and every note is as clear as a bell. Crazy.
I went to retirement community with her she was so talented!
It's crazy that she's singing the whole song in Italian

'Well there was like two words at the beginning' - Buzz Killington
Nope. Italians speak and sing also with hands 🤔🤨😅😅
THAT’S AMAZING! When I looked at it I was like “I know her from somewhere… 🤔” then it hits me 😮🤯: we sat next to each other at Band Camp nearly 15 years ago! She was first chair trumpet and I was second! I am glad she’s killin’ the game still with her singing!
I went to kindergarten with her .... She used to sing so much even as a kid I'm so happy she grew so much
“my last braincell in the exam” So relatable 🤣🤣🤣
Heard Veronica Swift in concert recently: She covered the whole spectrum (Scat singing Bebop, Bossa Nova, Opera, Rock, Soul) spot on with the energy of an entertainer, the vocal pipes of a superstar.
I have all the respect for Jazz singers, like the control and the improv that they have is outstanding.
too bad it sounds like hot garbage though...Not that she can't sing, this just is just silly novelty garbage is all.
When she said "tripple nipple bee bops"
Man, i felt that
This is what I sound like when I'm on the toilet suffering from diarrhea, shaking profusely and praying for a miracle.
I went to highschool with her, we thought she was foreign, whenever she talked it was this gibberish but we now realized she was just practicing her scatting skills.. glad she made it!
Last note of M39 should be a Gb. Other that, fantastic scat solo and a very nice transcription as always, chock full of necessary expression markings!
Wow, great catch!

That was some of the best scatting I’ve ever heard. It’s a technique that not everyone can master and sound this good. Bravo my Dear!
this genre of music is one of those "just because you can, doesnt mean you should" things.
Damn! That was incredible! She has a ridiculous amount of vocal control. I'm in awe.
OMG, she's INCREDIBLE perfect homage to Ella Fitzgerald The Supreme Queen of Scat. However, on another less melodic note, I DON'T have a voice like hers and still I don't shut up.
AND HER ABILITY TO KEEP TIME IS DAMN
If it weren’t for this video I never would of known about Veronica Swift, she truly is amazing.
This is the music that plays in my head when I’m asked what I would like to order.
That bass player is truly living the music and I'm fully vibing with him.
It's not just the voice, her technique and precision are on point. Props!
That scat is so crisp!! Like you can almost see the shape of every note she spouted. DANG.
That phrasing at 0:45 was just gorgeous 😮
The WiFi password is on the back of the router.
The back of the router:
When she said bebopopebebeopepoeeeppbobebp

She didn’t even seem into the jazz. She was just reciting words
Wow, she’s like a comet flying over. Absolutely amazing. She is a shooting star.
Played this tune a thousand times but never behind talent like this. Bravo!
I went to heaven with her and she sang better in heaven than most ppl.
I saw her at the supermarket and she was the cashier. She kept singing every item’s name
Now I’m gonna have this song stuck in my head
Gosh she looks and sounds amazing! I’m not even musical but even I can tell how difficult this is!

I really felt it when she said “skeebeedeebeedoobop”
Her voice is so G R O O V Y
she's incredible! there's a video of her singing a vocalese version of one of charlie parker's solos in a tribute song to him that's just masterful.

I went to middle school with a girl who thought she sounded like this, she didn't.
I used to work with Veronica at Walmart. When she sang the squashes, turnips and other assorted root vegetables used to get up and dance around. Never seen or heard anything like it.
Y’all sleeping on the piano player
Just now, at 45 years old, and being a musician, have I realized what in the world she's saying! How in the world have I never known that they b c g b boo boo da sounds are the notes that are being sung! I always just thought they were so talented to make up the fast sounds. I feel really smart. This is so good!
I'm a hardcore jazz fan I'm literally crying. If a woman walked up to me singing like that, I'd marry her on the spot!
She's one of the wonders of the world.
I saw her live a few years back at the Jazz Standard (rip that venue) and it blew my mind. She was with Kyle Poole on drums, can't recall who the other people were. Talked to them after the show and they were all delightful folks on top of being fantastic musicians. Seriously might have been the best live performance I've ever seen. PS her rendition of Stars Fell on Alabama is AMAZING.
My man on bass is sweating like there's no tomorrow...Someone get that man a towel!

That sound is approaching the Queen of Jazz. I don’t think she covered Ella’s range at the top or bottom so freely in this song, but it was pretty fricking good.
