Can you help me Is it important to qualify GATE for admission in IIT Kharagpur or anyone can apply with NET? And I'm interested to fill the form in Humanities ( Sociology) .. I miss the GATE form now i have only NET So please tell me or if you know someone who pursuing phd in sociology from that iit so please ask for exam patterns and all important tips for quality that exam
If written test will happen, then that will be based on entire syllabus of GATE or the topic which we given preference for PhD which they have asked only for shortlisted candidates...
If I apply through dst inspire fellowship then will they take written test?? If so ...then what will be the pattern and syllabus...like physics maths chemistry will also come? Also please tell the centre of the test as I am from Jhansi..
No, u will be called for interview, high chances are that it will be in online mode. M sure u will be called for interview coz u hv a very gd rank but ur selection will completely depend on your interview So prepare well. All the best

Passing GATE exam is the easiest way to get into IITs I guess.
