I LOVEEEEE the kayano 29’s. I wear them to work at a hospital and I run in them all the time.
Is kayano basically nimbus plus stability?
@@redsox7897 For 29 and 24 no, and even with 25 and 30 no.
Kayano has more technology and is firmer, it is designed for overpronators and is Asics’ premier shoe for that, it’s also heavier than Nimbus, it’s slower overall.

I love these so far. Ran about 30 miles in them so far and they are great.
Please bring back the truss system. We need the highly structured shoe back. The 28 & 29 have almost no structure feeling now. Also, please reinforce mesh on the Toe box. It’s a major point of contact and wears out so quickly now. I’m a loyal died hard Kayano wearer for nursing 12 hour shift work. We rely on our kayanos being just as supportive as they are cushioned, and just as durable to last. I had to switch to Saucony and New Balance bc of the past few changes to the kayano. It’s sad, but my feet come first.
A lot of the same words imagined and re-imagined. Sold me. I ran 5 miles today indoor track with my new K 29's. 1 half size larger than I normally wear. 10's instead of 9 1/2's. I did the research, and it paid off. Great shoe. Comfortable. Looks good. It was a cold indoor hockey arena track. Time will tell how they perform in the heat. $120 Canadian. I couldn't say no.

Witch is best ,gel kayano oor wave raider?
For my overpronation level the Mizuno Wave Rider 25 worked perfectly for me. The Rider Neo 2 was a bit less stable but a lot more nimble. Anyways I would like to try this new Kayano with FF Blast plus since I loved the Gel-Nimbus 24 with the Blast Plus ! If that Nimbus had a bit more stability it could be my shoe of the year ... Oh wait, this Kayano 29 might be what I'm looking for ...

No, the Zoomx Invincible Run (1 and 2) are a different type of animal. I keep asking the same thing, trying to find a better shoe (except the NB More V4). I need something that exceeds both/a mixture of sorts. ASICS are durable and not bad with the gel at all. If you like a more stable relaxed ride the ASICS are good stuff.
I thought there was no twist gel in the forefoot only the heel.

RIP REAL Kayano's. This is such propaganda by ASICS to make you feel you are getting an upgrade. Using less material = cheaper quality and less durable shoes. I get it, shoes are expensive to manufacture...but this is a step in the wrong direction for the workhorse that is an ASICS Kayano. Do not take my word for it, head to your local running store and get your gait analysis looked at on this Kayano vs. any previous Kayano with a true stability post...you will understand very quickly the loss of support in this new model. Get the 28's while you can!
28s were terrible and I have run in every version. They were bricks. FF Blast+ is a fantastic foam, so willing to try these .
ASICS sucks now! Brooks now has my business and I’ll never go back to ASICS! Research around. Everywhere they have social media there are mass complaints for this shoe. Especially their ASICS America corporate Yelp in Irvine. It’s very telling.
After 32 years of using Asics and recent experience I have come to the conclusion that these shoes suck big time. The upper is rubbish and tears at about the 6 months deadline.
