- Following on from my recent Throwback Honest Unboxing video, today I continue my journey yesteryear by looking at what's on the disc of the 2015 UK Blu-ray release of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. Released by (the now defunct distributor) Animatsu Entertainment.
These discs were also the same included in the North American release by Sentai Filmworks around the same time.

I own the US edition, and it is identical, so no one got ripped off.
And if this makes you feel any better, the recent release looks WORSE somehow, with too contrasty picture and somehow less detail because of the filters applied. So being scanned at 4K resolution was all for nothing. Also new release is missing clean OP & ED.
Ah, thanks for confirming. Good to know the Sentai US release was the same discs as these.
Oh wow! I'd heard a few rumblings about how the recent new 4K release was but I had not idea it was like as you described! Things like this do make you wonder how it got approved/signed off.
