I think ur mixing up the friday and saturday wembley shows. The saturday one is the more known Wembley 86 show, in contrast to the Friday one, which is weird because Freddie’s voice was a bit shot on the Saturday show because of the rain from the Friday one.
@@kilgore1863 when i mean most known i mean in terms of yt views. Friday one has over 60 million views and saturday has over 3.5 million views. What im saying is to go for the saturday one which has all the inflatable balloons, slightly clearer quality on the instruments and vocals and in my opinion feels way more engaging instead of automatically assuming that just because the friday video has more views which appears top of the search results that that is the best option. Kind of like wine in a fancy restaurant. Apparently the 2nd most expensive is the one you want and is the better choice. The saturday version might be the more well known because it is on spotify on the wembley 86 playlist but it goes under the radar to the more viewed one on yt, especially to those who want to listen to it for the first time Thats just me though. I could be right. I could be wrong. End of the day it is up to the youtuberd which one they choose to watch haha 😂☺
You will never be disappointed by watching to any part of the Montreal concert, Somebody To Love is amazing. Or... If you want to jump back into the 70s you definitely have to check out the White Queen at the Hammersmith 75 gig.
I think Somebody to Love is going to be our next one. We have had several suggestions for that one. We appreciate the info. Lucky people at that concert!
Queen were best known for their live performances .. alas Freddie’s stellar vocal & piano skills, Brian’s Red Special (Queen’s 5th voice), Roger’s drumming & fantastic backing vocals, & our quiet musician John Deacon who has written a couple of Queen’s biggest hits - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST, I WANT TO BREAK FREE, SPREAD YOUR WINGS, & ONE YEAR OF LOVE (from the 1986 Highlander movie soundtrack) just to name a few. Thank you!! 😊
Thank you, this is one of John Deacon’s favourites...probably because he gets to shine with his bass playing here...by the way, John built an amp for Brian with bits and pieces and scraps that he found in skips (dumpsters)..people were amazed at the sounds it could produce....John has a degree in electromics🤩
@@davebain1982Hi Dave, the transistor was used to build a device that allowed him to record straight from the radio...you got your wires crossed!.......sorry, couldn’t help making that pun😂🤩
Great reaction! There is reason why Queen has often been voted as the best live band. Sometimes their live performances are better then their studio versions. I suggest going back to the 70's. There is a lot of great music from Queen in 70's that people just don't know. I suggest, Father To Son - Queen live at the Rainbow 1974 also from Montreal 1981 check out Tie Your Mother Down, White Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 is one the best live performances you will ever see. or Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow 1974 (this song is officially known as the first (thrash metal song).
I see this as a Queen instrumental that Freddie gives accompaniment to! John Deacon (Deaky) on Bass, Roger on drums and Brian and his unique guitar are each simply master musicians!
Hi Coach and Mrs Coach - have you watched Queen in the Live Aid 1985 concert? Each group was given about 22 minutes to perform and Queen made full use of their time giving an amazing performance of several of their well known songs plus Freddie's famous "AyeeOoh" with the crowd. He loved this interaction with the audience and they loved it too! This concert will give you a real feeling for the diversity of the songs that this talented group wrote and performed. I never get tired of listening to Queen! PS For something completely different, watch the performance of Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe singing "Barcelona". Such talent.....
As you go down this road...I can't wait for you to listen to Freddie and Monserrat Cabelle. A couple of years before he passed away, he corroborated with thos famous Spanish opera star, and their music will blow you away. Barcelona and How Can I Go On, are two fabulous songs for starters. Monserrat became one of his closest friends, and they had great respect for one another.
I am getting here late but wanted to see Coach's reaction to the killer guitar in this song. I love the bass in this one too. Brian wrote this song and it makes one wonder if the dragon on his back isn't that fire breathing guitar of his.
For all you rock and rollers - try a medley from Wembley - "In the Lap of the Gods", "Seven Seas of Rhye" and "Tear it Up". (maybe the first one will be too ballady for Coach, but keep listening!)
@@CoachCastTV I was like your wife sorta, I wasn't too busy like she was to listen, I personally just couldn't stand Queen, but I was young into Lovey-dovey Songs lol it wasn't untill a few years ago I decided to see what all the fuss was about, and Oh My Goodness, it was so eye opening and I beat myself up now knowing all the opportunities I could have went to their concerts in the flesh....live and learn (the hard way) sometimes but I also am more fond of their Later music, just me ! Saturday night was made into a video of the entire concert which was amazing. You might even consider doing the entire Sat 7/12 concert in several parts. Others have done so without a problem. You can see how they put together which songs go where!!

I was never a gigantic Queen fan either when I was younger. I simply didn’t know what I was missing. My husband got me into quite a number of groups, this being one of them. Sadly I could never get overly fond of Pink Floyd although I sincerely tried. That’s a whole different discussion, lol
Different pluses for both live and studio. Queen seemed to relish in recharging how they would approach selected songs live. DRAGON ATTACK is hands down my fave Freddie alpha male swag video. This same concert: PLAY THE GAME. For the best sampler package, Queen's LIVE AID 21 min. set. There are PLENTY of reasons why it is still talked about! One of the world’s greatest band formed by 4 perfect members, but like what Mrs Coach said; Freddie was taken away from us way, way too early 😔
“Somebody To Love” from the same concert will really impress you! 👑
A few have made that suggestion, so we are going to do that one for sure.
One of the greatest things about seeing Queen live was that Freddie made you feel like you were part of the show, not just a spectator. 🥰
Another great (&longer) version of this is live at Milton Keynes 1982.... it's Fire!.. this is one of John Deacon's favorite songs to play.... ❤...
