- Check this railroad crossing with bars and lights facing the track instead of the road. By a simple push on the button, the bars open, the light turns green and of you go!

Some weird type of pedestrian and tram crossing is what I've gathered from this
The train tracks are a walkway
Maybe the train track is abandoned

no if it was a tram there would be wires
The train driver stops, gets out and pressed the button and then proceeds.
In Praha, this is common for tram, even they have push button to stop pedestrian
I have a theory!
There are kinds of mini trains where you pedal to make it move forward. This happens especially on abandoned tracks because on non-abandoned tracks it's a bit dangerous :) And since the track is surely abandoned my theory is that the people who make this type of "mini train" arrive and press the button and the lights of the cars turn red to let them pass.
Me wondering why this is a real place on earth.

This is for 'fietslorry' / 'drasine' / railway bikes and regular bikes.
When the drasine driver presses the button, it stops traffic and opens the gate, allowing them to proceed.
Its not the wrong way i think its old railway form the netherlands to germany
