    Great job kid!
    My son is 10 and drives these on a weekly basis, I raced them for years and still do from time to time.
    You are focused and smooth at the wheel, keep it up my friend!!

    awesome young man, hope you stick with it I was watching your hands and you look like you are getting the rythem down, and to the people talking shit about him climb in a late model before talking shit I've raced one for 20 plus years-and 850 plus HP is no joke this young man driving was doing great and I believe with some seat time he will be a competitor especially if he can get some other drivers to practice with him and let him run in traffic

      Source Feedz Hell yeah man. I'm a 3 time flat kart champion. I've driven many racecars and have been at the front and tail of the field. I know what it takes to win and know what it takes to lose. If you have your eyes and heart set in on something, you can accomplish anything. I moved up classes to compacts last year and there is tons of learning to be done.

    The discussion here should not be about questioning his talent as a driver, Rather are 9 year old children emotionally developed enough to respond to things that occur in this level of racing? Such as hard crashes, fire, equipment failures affecting the chassis and handling, Also is a child emotionally stable enough to control issues of aggression or anger while operating a machine capable of serious bodily harm to others? I know several adults who aren't.. Just food for thought.

      Harper Phillips it's not a question of how had you've crashed it's a more of concern with your cognitive development, your brain is still growing and is incapable of rational decision making. It's the reason your not allowed to consume alcohol, have a driver's licence or purchase tobacco.

    There’s no doubt that some of these kids have got talent. But, I remember when I was young you had to be at a minimum 18 years old and have a valid drivers license to race. If I owned a race track, there is no way in hell I’m allowing a minor to race at it regardless of talent. Just imagine the liability if that kid gets killed on the race track. What parent in their right mind would put their kid in this situation? Would you let you kid drive a car down the freeway? Kids know no limits. It up to adults to teach them, give time to mature and learn. If I were a driver, I wouldn’t want it on my conscience knowing I just got caught in a wreck that got a child killed in a race car.

    Ridiculous. Kids that young haven't hit anything hard enough to understand what kind of beast they're trying to harness. Kids are fearless, they will drive harder and harder as they get more experience, without knowing how bad they can hurt themselves, and others.
    NEVERMIND: I thought from the title he was going to do more than just DRIVE the car around.

    Give him stick shift ;D

    • @BulletSpawn
      @BulletSpawn 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the direct drive 2speed bert transmission in that latemodel is much harder to shift than a stick shift... if he can shift that race car...he can shift anything 🏎🏎🙂

      Fuji San Late Models have 2 gears high and low there’s two levels right next to them in the cockpit, and they normally run high.

    • @andrewhutchison368
      @andrewhutchison368 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it’s not it’s two speed which is pit gear and track gear speeds and to be that little don’t you think that that would be a little much I mean I am not doubting the kid but a lot of men can’t even do it

    What type of parent would allow their 9 year old to drive a late model? They must not love him very much or care about his safety..I would never allow my 9 yo son to get in an 800 hp late model.. Fuck full grown men get hurt in these, imagine what could happen to a 9 yo kids tiny underdeveloped bones if he took a hard enough hit

      Prestigiator omfg get real!!

    • @mamajama779
      @mamajama779 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get real? so you think a 9 year old child needs to be racing a full blown super late model? and it looks to me like he is seriously gonna be in the way if he is racing against other guys in supers that aren't just local yokel shit boxes, because he is barely on the gas.. it just seems really stupid to me, its a 9 year old child get him a go kart or something where he will be racing against other 9 year olds, not a god damn super late model where he is racing against adults that is just completely stupid

    • @laryngo4316
      @laryngo4316 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If he wants to, let him do it?!?! It ain't like he is racing with other people!! Even if he is that isn't your kid!!! You must be a liberal...aren't you?!

    • @mamajama779
      @mamajama779 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      this is a 9 year old child.. you don't just let 9 year olds do whatever they want.. I don't care that this child is driving 40 mph around some shit hole race track.. what I am saying is their needs to be an age limit for people racing in things like the lucas oil late model dirt series and world of outlaw late model series, the kid isn't gonna get hurt doing this but a kids his size would absolutely get hurt driving at 120 mph around Volusia or something and wrecking because grown men get hurt doing it so who knows how much less it would take to kill a nine year old boy.. i just know there aint no way i would put my kid in an adults race car at 9 years old.. too risky and not worth possibly losing my child over

    • @laryngo4316
      @laryngo4316 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Prestigiator you are dumb asf!!! he isn't racing!!! he is just driving around!! there is an age limit!! you have to be at least 17+ to drive a late model but that's only if he's racing, he ISN'T RACING!!! you get it now?

  • @ryan14r95
