has anyone noticed that Turbo Yoda generally looks pretty moody, and the only time you can see him smiling and in high spirits is ONLY when turbos are involved? :P the guy is a legend!
The whole time I was watching them make the manifold I was thinking "no fucking way they are actually putting the turbo there". I expected it to be a joke and they would show a normal placement in the end.
I think Al just wanted to do something different to what he normally does. Every sensible, logical guy feels like doing something illogical and fun every now and then.
No, they generally go where Marty put it. Forward facing turbos which a lot of 800hp evos run, are notorious for putting their evos forward facing near the mesh. The headlight space is usually for the intake. Moua Xiong 1000 degrees is pretty low for some engines. Considering the ripeness of the bananas along with the flow dynamics though I'd guess they'd be able to handle around 1225 degrees Farenheit.

i like v8s myself but the amount you can squeeze out of some little 4 bangers is fun and dirt cheap. a guy that drives for a local shop here in ohio made 638 to the wheels on a stock block b18. its just fun and can be done for nothing basically. and everything these guys do can be applied to any engine.
