      @@LearnwithCrazyEngineers how about two response (surface roughness/temperature) but the same L16 (4*4) like you already presented to us.

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Use the same data to model the two outcomes. Only response variables will be different

    Sir , is it possible to take L9 values of taguchi with one pocket milling on workpiece .. if yes then how it is done .. plz explain

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers

      Taguchi model selection is based on your design parameters selection. Can you explain more about your work

    I am a bit confuse on how to get the S/N ratio which you copied and paste it on the table?

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can calculate using excel based on your objective or you can use minitab to get SN ratio. Estimating SN ratio is the first step.

    L16 (4*4) taguchi multi response optimization

    where did you get the SN ratio value for all experiments ? if i have done multilevel design then where is teh SN ration term for all sets ?

    • @krishnaraj.v6706
      @krishnaraj.v6706 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SIr,i have repeated the same , but what is got as SN ratio is hgot a minus sign

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to calculate the S/N ratios using your experimental results. The S/N ratio calculation is based on whether your outcome is smaller the better or higher the better or the target value.

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video, my objective was minimizing the roughness value to get better surface quality. So choose your objective and calculate the S/N ratio. If you don't know how to calculate manually just calculate using Minitab by the exact steps what I did in this video

  • @priyanthawickramaratna5782

    How did you get the Roughness value in the Minitab, pls

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not from minitab ma. It's from experiment. You have to measure from your sample and use it in Minitab

      While Constructing Optimal Model, the equation under the headline: Predicted Surface Roughness from Optimum Combination, where in this video we get value = 0.2057 micrometer. What is the source/ reference for that equation

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Please follow the video properly. The equation should be made from identified optimal parameters. There is no reference equation. You can see around from 15:00

    • @LearnwithCrazyEngineers
      @LearnwithCrazyEngineers  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a calculation for estimating T and mu. Follow those steps to get that value.
      T samples average
      mu optimal value estimation based on T and optimal parameters.
