Von Maur just started carrying this brand recently. We had two representatives come out to the store that I work in (Michigan) to tell us more about the brand and now I'm doing some research of my own. I'm pretty excited about it. Really looking forward to see how this brand sells.
Their chinos and weekday dress pants are the best. Good quality, comfortable, an assortment of colors and MOST importantly they fit well. The organic cotton pants are too stiff and don't feel good at all. Maybe they'll work on it and get it right.
Awesome that you guys are doing these videos, great way to get more information about your brand and products out to fans and customers. But please get new hangers! Those clear plastic ones are awful. The white wire rack isn't doing anyone any favors either. But keep the videos coming.
The newer ones are now separated into slim and straight categories. I've seen older Bonobos are "slim straight". Are the older ones more slim or straight ?
Hmm... maybe I should have gone tailored fit... crap. Waiting for my order now. First from Bonobos ever. If slim really is that loose hopefully I can do an exchange. Anyone know if you can do an in-store exchange with stuff you ordered online?
How'd they work out? I had some slim fits in my cart and they seemed like the right way to, but his look pretty baggy. Maybe his legs are slimmer than his chest/torso?
@@crisp1981 he has very slim legs. I have fuller legs at 6'3 and slim fit versions fit nice and snug but not too tight. Straight is good for me as well.
As an update, "slim" definitely ended up being my fit. In fact I love the fit and have a bunch of pairs of their pants now (and shorts actually, also in slim fit--the slight taper makes them look WAY sleeker than other shorts on me). They definitely are *not* baggy. It might just be something with this guy's proportions that make them look kinda loose on him. As for the tailored fit, it was ok but imho a little too tight. Note, I'm fairly athletic (though not a jacked body builder), so for guys who are pretty slender/thinner, the tailored fit might make more sense.
archipelago93 so you got slim in both shorts and pants? I just got pairs of slim shorts and tailored pants. Almost feel like the shorts are probably too tight(not skin tight completely but not much extra room) and the pants are maybe perfect but just slightly too tight if at all. Just odd that the tailored in pants seems more loose fitting than the tight in shorts? Do you notice anything like this?

Buying the same pair of pants in the slim and tailored cut, I would suggest to size up by a waist size to correct for shrinkage and comfort.
