Yep there are several safety features. That ring is one and then the tension is released on the barbell when it is tilted to far in one direction.

Question. Looking at those handles. I didn't get good look at them but are they ergonomic? If not do they still do the trick?
If they are, how do they feel?
Good question. That are not ergonomic but they give you clips so you can clip on the grip you're comfortable with.
How much does the machine weigh? Will it be easy to take it up the stairs to the bedroom using a trolley? Thanks and great review!
The package is 242 pounds because it comes in a huge box with a wooden palette under it. It's bottom heavy on one side and that's why I mentioned it being lighter then you think. It's really easy to get it upright. If you have a dolly it really shouldn't be too bad with a Hand Truck style dolly.

Can you make the reps step up or down automatically with each rep? Like say you wanted to bench, have it set to go up 10 lbs each rep? Also can you program it for the eccentric to be unequal to the concentric?

is it possible to make a profile for my brother that he can use it the same?
Yep you can make 5. And it's cool because you can then each to the assessments and have it set the weight correctly for each of you.

@@moglimd So there is a partner mode but I haven't tested to see if it would recognize multiple accounts in that mode. I'll test it before I drop the review. Please ask any other questions that you might have so I can add them to my review.
