I have a 06 3.7L WK1 . Bought it used for around $4k, has around 200k miles now. Put a lot of money into the Jeep in about 3yrs, and I’m still not done. Probably gonna shop around for a SRT8, I’ll be paying more overtime , compared to buying a used vehicle , but I’ll also get a longer lifespan compared to a 200k mile V6 that still has work to be done
07 WK SRT8 here ......great rig so far.Its been tough getting parts, especially OEM. And there is not as much after market support as Im used to with the LS platform.
@@ModstarzOfficial looks like it's gonna be a project.......used up all but 1 of my carbide blades on the sawzall cutting the clevis bolt out. Broke the wheel speed sensor in the hub, which is fused to the steering knuckle and that's just one side.

As far as your power goal goes a procharger kit like the one mentioned in the video should meet your goals even on a stock block. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I think it’s a fair deal. You can always negotiate and shop for other prices. If possible do a pre purchase inspection and if you want to buy the vehicle than do so. After you own it you can do what ever you’d like with it. Mod don’t mod as long as you like the Jeep. It’s a win win. 👍🏾
You should stop reading the internet and get with good shop. You can get a lot more out of it for less money, our high mileage 08 Jeep SRT8 has been 9.82 @ 138mph with a stock (unopened) 6.1 with a 88 mm turbo kit, our Intake manifold, Dings valvebody, Protorque Converter, and fuel system. We've been 8.0 @ 174mph with stock ignition coils and through the throttle body spacer in the garbage.

You guys are the best wk1 tunner/builders out right now, I think if you all could get more content out to show it off it'll be great but then again I think I like my wk1s not being as popular as the wk2s 😂, alot of people still doesn't know what there are and completely overlook them...
ORRRR I could buy a hellaphant motor from direct connect and a stage 2 8 speed tranny for approximately 25k to 30k if you include labor and I can blow the doors off any trackhawk or Lamborghini. I already got the jeep 2009 and I daily it, I'm gonna pay it off and run that motor into the ground and snatch it out of there before I do this.
You could do that (I am not sure if hellephant motors are still available as a crate motor) just understand that the car will sit until the build is done. More downtime on the car. Take care of your jeep so when you are able to do the swap you can sell the other motor to have more funds to go towards the build or whatever you would like to spend that money on. There is a more convenient way to build. With that being said , is your goal to beat trackhawks and Lamborghini’s ? If so which Lamborghini and do you need a hellephant motor and 8speed to do it?
You sure could or a 5.7 Hemi and do the same thing. Just ask yourself how long you would want the process to take ? How much down time will the jeep have?
Ive got an WK1 07 Jeep SRT8 stockish and a 2019 Trackhawk stock...The Trackhawk is insane.. However the WK1 Jeep SRT8 is a lil more fun to drive

Just stay factory. If you are dig racing your good. I am pushing well over 1000 hp and tq to the wheels in mine

yes but no, cause 8 speed will not fit with your AWD system
