Thanks to you and this channel, I learned how to make delicious "nice creams" in a Ninja Creamy machine. Now my freezer is full of your other 4 delicious nice cream flavors and I am excited to try this new blueberry flavor. I eat one of the nice creams almost every night (I split it with my husband). Best thing is I don't gain any weight as it is so healthy and low fat, no processed sugar or salt. P.S. Your blueberry pie is also the best pie I have ever eaten.
Tried this last night. I used 1 can of coconut milk and 1 can coconut cream. My spouse loved it. Used English toffee stevia-sweet drops brand no dates. Turned out excellent. My hubby cleaned the bowl to the last spoonful. I added Hersey cocoa and a tbsp of dandelion coffee. I did not have nuts. This is a keeper.
I love our Creami, thank you for the recommendation. We got it after seeing some of your earlier shows. For some reason we have to run ours 3-4 times so the ice cream isn’t icy. Not a big deal….the end product is always delicious.
@@jamiefaber6262 I just use avocados. No nuts or cashews. The avocados make it nice and smooth and the frozen berries are sweet enough for the mix. I keep a bag of frozen avocados from the store if I do not have fresh on hand and it is very good in the mix also. Easy for me to make and a nice sweet little desert.
Looks good! I make a banana blueberry chocolate smoothie on the thick side that can really be scooped into a cone and it is so good! I eat it all the time.
I don't have those ice-cream machines, but I will try this with frozen blueberries, like smoothie bowl, combination of ingredients is interesting! Thank you!
I just bought the Ninja Creami due to your strawberry ice cream recipe (from another episode), can't wait to try that one...and all of your Creami recipes to come!! 🍦🍧💕
Just what I need. Thank you. Have you ever experimented with using stevia powder instead of dates? I am also adding protein powder to the mix for my bodybuilding needs and I would love to keep it low calorie as possible.
We have stayed away from stevia in partly because Dr. Greger's research suggests it can cause sugar cravings and partly because most stevia producers put dextrose and various forms of sugar in the products. Dates are a super high fiber way to get some sweet treats!
If you don't have an ice cream maker, you could put the processed ingredients in a container, put it in the freezer and whip it up in about an hour or so. That's all that happens with and ice cream maker or that ninja thingy anyway.
If I were you, I would buy a Ninja Creamy machine. You will not regret it. These nice cream recipes are so delicious and healthy for you. P.S. Check out Jill's other 4 recipes too: Chocolate, Strawberry, Coffee and Butter Pecan.
I’m looking forward to getting my creami. I keep saving your videos. Seems like the recipes are great! Do you have any insight as to why so many recipes that I find for creami add protein powder (note: I don’t want to add protein powder). Thank you 😊
I think people just believe all of the hype about needing more protein. There are plenty of studies showing that these claims are false and that the processed powders are not beneficial.
Thank you for the tip about adding lemon juice! Can’t wait to try that! Frozen desserts are lovely but the flavor changes so much from room temp. Are the results from the Ninja creami totally different vs using frozen ingredients in a high speed blender like a typical nice cream?
At least she got your view! You could try a heavy duty blender because it freezes hard as a rock. Just mix/blend frozen banana or avocado with berries and you’ll get nice’cream.
It will freeze solid as a rock. The machine then grinds it down into creamy ice cream. You can double the batch and use it in a traditional drum ice cream maker though.
Those are dried blueberries, aren’t they. They sound like it. I use frozen blueberries and cold, cold Nut Buds Creamer. I love adding dates in place of my stevia. I gotta’ try that.

Hi Betsy, so happy to hear you are enjoying the nice creams and pie. We share a nice cream most everyday and marvel at how tasty healthy food can be!
I’m sure it came with a recipe book, didn’t you get it?
I bought the creami just to try this. Eating it right now. OMG it’s amazing!!! How can this be healthy?! Feels like a life hack

Cool!!! I make mine with frozen blueberries and avocado and water. Nice thick smoothie for me.
Hi! I am intrigued! Do you leave out the cashews or just add avocado? Thanks!

I have all the ingredients to make this fun dessert 😃, But I don't have a Ninja Creami. How can I make this recipe without the Creami? Thank you.
Same question
Same question. I don't need another appliance in my kitchen.
A lot of people just use their food processors to make ice cream. I think you can TH-cam it to find out how.

Are the results from the Ninja creami totally different vs using frozen ingredients in a high speed blender like a typical nice cream?
It is more firm and stays firm much longer
@@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshowThank you. I appreciate your view as a knowledgeable WFPB expert familiar with both.
Hi Jill💖🙏🏻
I love this recipe. I am allergic to all tree nuts (except coconut). Are the nuts necessary for the recipe? If yes, can I substitute sunflower seeds?
Sure they would probably work ok.
Also, someone else suggested avocado. That might work?
❤️the Best Healthy Channel from Dear Jill ❤️❤️😘😘😘❤️❤️👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The Best
looks delish! what if you do not have an ice cream maker? can you make it with it?
There is any other way to spin the frozen ice cream mixture? (Don’t have the appliance you r using) 🌟
Please reply 🌹 thanks

Can we use no nuts if we are allergic to them or what can we substitute with?
Do you need to soak cashews before adding?
No
Will the ice cream be the same if you put it back in the freezer after mixing or do you have to eat it all after mixing it?
Yes!
Please use a spatula to get all ingredients out of your container 😊
Unfortunately not all of us can afford to buy this ice cream machine or any machine. Can this just be done in the freezer?
It will freeze solid as a rock. The machine then grinds it down into creamy ice cream. You can double the batch and use it in a traditional drum ice cream maker though.
What if I don’t have a creamy spinner device?
I don't think I'm a fan of chocolate and blueberries. I'd rather see blueberries and vanilla. ❤
Just remove the chocolate and add a teaspoon of vanilla!

Instead of dates for sweetness, have you looked at adding Allulose? FYI, absolutely no affiliation or connections of any kind. Anyway, just a thought.
So, if we can't afford this machine, is there another option?
What if you have all the ingredients but not the machine that you have. What can we sub
How about a blender because I'm not buying any more tools. I'm getting rid of almost everything so no more buying.😅😅😅😅
Those big "blueberries" you find at the store are NOT true blueberries. To get true blueberries be e sure to get the smaller wild blueberries.
