    I just checked Etsy and there are over 500,000 results for tumbler digital downloads, including stores offering many thousands of downloads for $4-$5 total. Is this actually a feasible market to break into?

    Thank you so much, Philip! I’m confused on how to create the actual tapered design. You showed the dimensions on how to create the straight design, but I didn’t catch how to create the tapered design aside from just the tapered mock-up. Did I miss something?

    Do you have any idea why sometime the art work won’t fit the mock-up or fill the bottom of tumbler even when I do 2790x2460? Then they are more than 10 MB sometimes

    @PhilipAnders your prompts use ar 279:246 and some other vloggers use ar 2000:1763. The ratio of width (i.e. 2000 / 279) and height (i.e. 1763 / 246) are 7.168 and 7.167 respectively, so the ratios of width and height are nearly but not perfectly identical.
    So the question I have is, does this matter, and if yes, which of the two --ar parameters is more accurate?

    Thank you! I just followed this. My one question is why is a tapered design a PNG vs a straight design is a JPG?

      good question! the tapered is not a square or rectangle. Some of it needs to be transparent which you only get with PNG. The straight file is a rectangle meaning it doesn't matter if it's png or jpg. Both work

    I make mine using this at the end of my prompt -- ar 128:69 --s 250 I got from another youtube and it seem my graphics don't fit the canvas right following your steps. they are too long. what can I do to fix this?

      if you trim off the edges with the Canvas system, that should still be fine to use for sale :)

    Hey, great video. One thing I noticed is that your tappered designs will not come out seemless like your straight desings will. I've learned that you can warp them to fit a tappered template in photoshop. Do you happen to know if you can warp multiple desings to fit the same template in photoshop?

    Just a quick one Philip, if we vectorize the images does that mean we don't need to upscale them on mydesign? I just signed to mydesign (with your code-thank you) and after generating the mockups I saved it to my computer to see how it would look like and it does not look that great. If we upscale it in mydesign then it would use up a chunk of our credits right?

    Hi Philip, I am somewhat confused. We have vectorized the images and publish just the tapered and straight files. Why do we not choose the SVG's as files to sell?

    Thanks Philip! quick question, when i tried vectorizing the images many of them came back looking much worse than the original. I went with upscaling 4x but now the DPI is off at Size: 2805x1469px Print Quality: 120 PPI, not sure how to adjust this in bulk. Any recommendations? Thanks!

      @@TOXICGURR I don't think video mockups are an easy feature so might be a while until they introduce that ability. You can create bundles but I am not 100% sure how. Might be worth asking on their community page

    Thank you so much! I played around with this a few days ago before your video was released but had so many questions, and your video definitely helped!! Do you think the tile pattern would print perfectly lined up through Printify? And when you change the canvas size in MyDesigns, isn't the right side slightly past the edge? I am worried about it not lining up perfectly if actually printed using POD 😅

    Love this video! Question... Doesn't the straight version have to be saved as a PNG for when someone buys it? I ask because you saved the Tapered version as a PNG but not the Straight version

      there are no transparent parts in that file so PNG is not a must ;) But you could use png as well

    Thank you! I don't understand the "payment flow" for print on demand for MyDesigns, though. I'm currently using Printify, and I can't seem to find an explanation of how the cycle of paying for products works with MyDesigns.

      ​@@brigittel26 you control the payment method used for POD orders under Settings > Payment Methods.
      We don't use the same card as your subscription unless you add the same card to payment methods.

    After vectorizing the image I am getting a size of 4580x1508 for the image. Did I do something wrong with vectorizing? It's just so much bigger then the canvas size for the tumbler that we do at 2760x2460 that it doesn't matter that there is a pattern on it.

    Thanks, but I have a question. Do you know how to post to their community page? I have issues with the images after converting them to vectors, they look like crap. They loose their 3d appearance. I am having to replace all of them. If this is the case this is a waste of money and time. If you have an answer for this that would be great.

      Yeah that has nothing to do with mydesigns. If vectorizing doesn't work for your images upscaling would be better. The vector style doesn't suit everything. It's best for cartoon-ish, flat 2d art. The mydesigns bulk upscaler isn't free. But I have a few videos about free upscalers on the channel including "Upscayl" which you can use in bulk

      yes there is a way to use your own mockups in psd format th-cam.com/video/g-2RYESkhSw/w-d-xo.html And the canvas system also let's you create custom mockups and add logos etc. I am releasing a video showing that process tomorrow

      Thank you! the tile function creates seamless patterns. However if you want them to repeat nicely I would recommend upscaling instead of vectorizing

      The designs are seamless, but they will not seamless in mydesign if you follow this tutorial.

    My vector leaves a giant transparent sidebar when I click fit vertical/align to center - It is too thin despite the recommended settings you used. Is their something I am doing wrong perhaps?

      I am not sure but you can always increase the size of it in the canvas system until it fills out the gap is gone ;)

    I got the link and opened an account. The only issue is in your tutorial, which is quite good, you upscaled by vectorizing right in the app but you clicked the png button. Can you clarify how that works? I thought vectorizing is the same as SVG made in layers for cut files. What am I missing here. It’s the only thing holding me back. Please help. Love all your videos❤

      Thank you I am glad to hear you love the videos! During the vectorize step there is no png button, it actually turns them into SVG files ;) In the next step I adjust the dimensions to fit tumblers and turn the images into png. You could also sell the SVG files I suppose amongst the png's

      Yes, but they'll soon make it more comfortable too upload bundles in MyDesigns.. they'll also want to add a feature where you can replace multiple images into it's own right places, saying this will be great for product photos, which are showcasing all designs contained in the bundle
