@@ericship8383 Wrong. EV torque is continous and flat, while ICE torque is a curve. EV torque says 600 but, in practice, is much higher. Torque just gives you a peak value and not an average, which is why comparing EV and ICE torque is incredibly stupid and makes you the perfect hellcat owner.

I've been speechless since the announcement of this thing... needless to say... all those words have been piling up inside my brain like a glorified TED Talk. I used to love Dodge. I loved their interiors from 2013 onwards, especially. Their quality control could have been more rigorous, but the Pentastar V6 sounds symphonic when it runs, and I suppose Uconnect 8.4 wasn't the worst thing when compared to the alternatives. However, Dodge has completely lost their mind on this one. Ford produced the Dark Horse, arguably their next best Mustang... and still offered an electric alternative for those who like choice. Chevy nailed hybrid performance with the Corvette E-Ray, and THEN broke their own speed record just recently with the '25 Corvette ZR1. Porsche has become my new favourite brand, honestly. They honour their legacy without skimping on modern conveniences. The Panamera just entered its third generation and honestly it was so well-met, I thought it was just a pretty facelift. I always thought a Grand Caravan Hellcat would have been eccentric, but hilariously practical for heavy lifting. Or even just a hybrid muscle car. Instead we get a Dyson on wheels.
The “Dyson on wheels” is the reason why Dodge has to atone due to their lack of a low carbon emission V8 and zero carbon commuters (reasons why Chevy has the Bolt EUV and Ford with the Mustang Mach-E), all the while we're still getting the C8 Corvette with powerful trims and the mildly road legal Mustang GTD Dodge is just doing the Charger Daytona for the sake of offsetting the emissions penalties after buying billions of dollars in carbon tokens from Tesla, so for once he happy that there's still a performance car from Dodge!

Lithium Ion Battery degradation is merely unnoticeable if you know how to properly get the car charged up, with clear evidence of early Teslas surpassing the 500,000 mile mark and only having around 5-10% degradation By the time the battery would give up on you, you'd have every non-electric component fixed or swapped in the Charger Daytona

Hey @Dodge! What are you going to do for those customers that placed order deposits by the original October 31st deadline? If you had made it known that the program would be extended, and in a way diluting the value of it, perhaps those of us that moved money out of investments would have kept that money in their accounts longer. I lost about $10,000 in unrealized gains, because I moved money around to cover the deposit before the deadline, and to prepare for delivery. Now that you pushed the date back to November 30th, not only have you tarnished the appeal of being one of the first few who qualified for the First Call benefits, but for those like me - you just made the car that much more expensive. I expect an answer, or I'm going to cancel my sold order.
It is going be a real uphill battle trying to sell the Charger Daytona EV initially, I cannot wait until the 3.0l TT hit the lots. The car has the looks now deliver the promise my eyes are on the ICE version.
