Thank you for this interview and let's give the new CEO a warm welcome and a chance. I'm excited about new products, but we should never forget the Dodge Brothers and their accomplishments in the short time that they had. They deserve a vehicle that serves as a homage, and we should be celebrating them by introducing a new family sedan, which is reliable but also affordable, without any gimmicks. Just something to think about Mr. McAlear. Thank you and good luck.
Matt’s probably gonna catch all the flack from people that should go to Stellantis as a whole. I hope he doesn’t cause it’s not like DODGE really wanted to stop doing HEMI cars
This new guy is okay. The previous guy bailed with the hemi and left what’s left of Dodge for this guy. He is trying to make the best of the current situation. Good luck.
I wish Matt all the success in his new role. People have been critical of Dodge lately, and I share some of their concerns. I've been a loyal Dodge customer for years, but I haven't been happy with their product quality since 2017 - even when Tim Kuniskis was CEO. I hope Matt can bring about positive change at Dodge.
Hold up guys I think dodge is bringing the electric Challenger out because they are waiting so then they can bring back the original ones then sell a lot like how coca cola changed the flavor then they brought it back and sold way more
Personally I think the muscle cars going electric is a fantastic idea, HOWEVER they should have designed an entirely new car vs redesigning the classics. People would probably be a little more receptive to the change.
He said something around the 10 minute mark that he and others at dodge are missing and why this car will fail. He said they have the youngest demographic. Dodge thinks just because these EV’s are going to be faster in stock form than any other vehicle previously. In today’s market that’s not gonna cut it. People bought these scats and hellcats for the sound and speed. The price is what’s going to kill this car, they are so out of touch with people who buy them opposed there mopar fans. That hornet is doing great right now???😂
This man said "I'm driving my Dodge Hornet until I get my new Charger EV"...OMG this has to be the most perfect "Yes Man" of 2024 😮😂. He is a interim CEO I bet on the low. Get yo' money though player 😁. #DOA #Flop #RipDodge
“We lost our way throughout the years”You did. But then Dodge got it all back again. Coolest muscle cars on the market… Again. But now that is all being tossed away. I understand the need for EVs. But why not make both? Keep a grip on the muscle car market that took Chrysler so long to regain.
Mustangs & Corvettes are the only American muscle left. I loved MOPAR the Dodge Viper was on my walls and screen saver. Now I’m a full on Toyota man guess this is growing up.
Dodge is V8 hemi legendary power plant or no ball. Ford can build V8. Gm can build v8s. Bmw Mercedes ranger rover etc Dodge can do it they just made a bad decision based on a CEO that did not get his core customers and there paying the price
DODGE can be even more robust if Stellantis/future parent company could restructure the brand and acquire their RAM truck back! ❤ The DODGE brand needs the RAM truck brand consolidated as part of the DODGE lineup offering. DODGE’s history has been renowned not only from a performance standpoint, but from its historic, dependable, and famous trucks as well dating back to the Graham Brothers’ days!
I think Dodge (and Stellantis) need to re-evaluate their current idea of pushing out EVs. They're going to be too expensive for most people, and because of the Mopar crowd, there's a large contingent that aren't willing to adopt EVs (never mind the vast majority of regular consumers that don't want them anyway). I think they should go back and look at hybrid vehicles for that extra push in power that the combustion engines might not have. They had hybrid V-8s in the Ram 1500, why didn't Dodge adopt them for that? I bet if they did that people would have been ok with the concept, and Dodge could theoretically limit the amount they manufacture each year. Additionally, they need to look at putting out more models. Nobody wants an Alfa Romeo with a Dodge badge slapped on it. They would be better off taking a Voyager/Pacifica and trying to make a sport version of that, as that *might* actually appeal to some people since it would be viewed as an American product, and not an Italian one.
😎When I was young I had a 69 Super Bee and the matching cornet440 then I got my 73 Challenger in my 73 charger 74 power wagon now 2019 Ram classic 2-door square box Hemi I'm not going electric✌️
Does Matt really know what the Dodge fans want? Because the way he's heading, Dodge maybe on its way to the chopping block. With the new Charger, that may not even sell, Matt thinks he can save Dodge. And the Hornet is the slowest selling car in America, and i think the EV Charger is going to flop big time. And Stellantis might get rid of Matt. If they can get rid of Tim Kuniskis, they can get rid of Matt, too. No ceo is exempt from being let go by Stellantis. Remember, each brand gets 10 years to make profits for Stellantis. Those that don't will be phased out.
They said 10 years..we going on year 5 soon. I doubt they'll make it to 10 years with all the ishh happening now. Stellantis already looking for a new CEO.
I have I have an electric truck and an electric Tesla but Dodge should not be electric I love my Ram TRX if I have an electric motor I would give it back
Matt seems well intentioned, but everything feels a bit too scripted. That said, at this time actions will speak a lot louder than words. Hope he can stick it to the heads of Stellantis, Carlos Tavares in particular.
Your choosing to go to market In a different way and your fall on your face doing it cause your core customer is not gonna buy it regardless of performance we don't want a speaker for a muffler hemi hemi hemi no one is gonna buy speaker on wheels
look at your Hornet no one wants that piece of s*** no one also wants a electric Dodge know your Market man I'm not saying that electric isn't good but no one wants an electric Dodge not an ugly one like the one you're selling to
Who thought it would be a great idea, to have the new CEO of Dodge sit in front of a beloved car Dodge no longer makes. Saw that, listened to him talk for 30 seconds, and I realized they've just completely ruined this brand.
This guy seriously said he is driving a hornet right now…. Bruh nobody buying that ugly ass car 😂 Tim was daily driving hellcats and now we got this guy what the F
To all you haters… Matt is Dodge through and through. He is a great leader and I look forward to seeing what he can do. Go get Matt!
Bring Tim Kuniskis back. He's better.
The CEO who started the Hellcat line 🔥
He's an american of lithuanian origin apparently
How do you know that Tim is better?
Give Matt a chance he be just as good as Tim .
Dodge is dead on the vine. 😢
V8 6 speed
Stay positive.
No it is not dead on a vine.
I will still continue to be a Dodge customer.
Hey Dodge we want real Muscle cars not vaccums. Bring back the Hemi.
THE LAST CEO OF DODGE

Matt don’t care about biggots, he’s too busy working on the next generation of cars
CEO of Dodge? that title doesn't mean anything because Stalantis CEO is out to ruin CDJR! He takes his orders from Stalantis CEO!
CEO that drives a hornet….pshhhh now it all makes sense
Hold up guys I think dodge is bringing the electric Challenger out because they are waiting so then they can bring back the original ones then sell a lot like how coca cola changed the flavor then they brought it back and sold way more
I hope you're right
The green Demon 170 in the background 🔥
Personally I think the muscle cars going electric is a fantastic idea, HOWEVER they should have designed an entirely new car vs redesigning the classics. People would probably be a little more receptive to the change.
6:29 how
"Hold Up, Dodge doesn't even believe in its own future. I see a DEMON in the Background. Not a EV Charger..."

I get it with the ev’s and what not but sheesh atleast still offer the v8 still. Ford is having a blast offering the coyote for as long as possible

Resign and sell the company back to people that want Hemi's. I won't buy one more vehicle from dodge or Ram.
