I LOVE idea #1 . I keep trying to tell my grubby hubby that it's a process. He says, " Just pick one! All those whites look the same."😂😂
😂
Yep!!
Sorry for the late reply! Whites are so hard to get right. Check out this video: m.th-cam.com/video/e3jXoFL8dJ8/w-d-xo.html

Agree that people want paint to be magic in the absence of styling 🎨
Not only does the natural light in the room make a difference in a paint's color appearance, the temperature color of your light bulbs can make an immense difference. I've been painting my bathroom in purple based greys. My last "daylight" color incandescent bulbs burned out and I replaced them with "daylight" or 5K LED bulbs. What was wonderful is now ghastly. Cold. Dead. Even the orchids in the room now look awful. I'll be trying out warmer color LED bulbs and hope! I can get back to the look I had.
BTW, your voice is lovely.
Thanks for the compliment and for watching. We just installed 2700k throughout our home and I absolutely love the warmth.
Thanks so much for the reply
What to do when multiple undertones? Eg, kitchen has grey/ green undertones, hardwood and carpet has pink undertone and stone fireplace has yellow/ gold / blue/ green stone? Open concept help?
In this scenario you go with whatever neutral you think is most prevalent and really lean into it through your decorating.
I might did a mistake I colored Benjaman More Dove Wing though out the house and Super white on trims and doors. I’m stuck with kitchen cabinets. Please help
Ma'am this shouldnt be a problem if we avoid grey right? I mean grey is the problem here. What if the sofa is yellow? It would match with that white color with green undertone right?
Wow surprised anyone uploads this late. Are you on west coast? Good for me though, im up late most of the time
Great content! So, if you do have a new build and they're painting everything, what color and type of paint (satin, flat, etc.) do you recommend (knowing after you decorate you'll be repainting)?
I'd just go with an off white in either eggshell or matte!
