Haha! Pedro, you rule, man! Thanks so much for doing this vid, Pedro! I was gonna buy an Icon Audio phono pre, but after speaking to Scott, (who’s a super intelligent guy) from Tavish, I went with that. It has no problem running any of my carts even LOMC down to .25mV. I may eventually also buy an icon too though. lol. I also built a price no object clone of an EAR 834p. Fantastic review of this obviously excellent phono pre. Thanks, Pedro! 🔊😊🎶
Great review, Pedro! I agree with you in this fascinating area, although I only have one cartridge! There is also a PS3 Mk2 Signature, so perhaps you will like that too and compare them one day. By the way, Mk or MK is spoken as "mark" in the UK, and I guess you would say it as "versión" or "modelo" in Spanish. Would that be correct? In the USA, I've also heard it said using the names of the letters M and K, as you have. This is meant to be helpful to you and not rude, by the way. I love your English channel. With thanks.
Great Job, Dude! - I like talking about cartridges, but I'm on the lower scale of price. You and Patrick have given me ideas and when I can I'll get that Amp for the MC carts you talked about. I'd like to try the Micro-line MC carts and there are at least 2 under $500 that could get me started down that shaft. .... Anyway, I have 4 old 1955 VofM 11-Watt tube I invested in and put two of them into a 59' 1 year only Hammond M-1 Speaker and replace the speaks of each one with two new 12" Lil Wings (I think that's the name...) I found two very nice Subs one recent and the others a classic 93' sub., plus a pair of RP-600 Klips that came with the recommendation of the Audiophilac (who's laid a couple of suggestions 'Since I apparently love to write :) - Basically I have these HUGE powered speakers made from ancient times when Tubes were IT because that was all there was. *.... GREAT JOB DUDE* - Looking forward to other Episodes! - m .
great videos!! do you recommend this over the ps audio stellar phono? I have an opportunity to buy both at the same price (and a good price), I like sweet midrange, authoritative bass and overall warmth? can you please help me decide?
glad to hear you talk in english❤
Haha if you can call it English 😂. thanks!

As an electrical engineer I agree. A 100 ohm input impedance should be fine with a moving coil cartridge.
The best!

I had the stellar phono, I was an early adopter. This one has purist approach, very simple without complications.
