I want to see a video of any thrifted items, antiques, or furniture you regret purchasing or did not live up to how you thought they would look in a space or for the purpose it was intended for
I love how in sync you and Justin are. You both literally see an item at the same time then it’s a rush to see who gets to experience the texture first! I’ve been watching your channel for ages and it just keeps getting better and better 😊
I am 66 and have a house full of stuff so I have no need to buy more but I watch your videos on thrifting, etc because you are such a joy to watch, especially your enthusiasm. I particularly like the candelabra and the wall sconces with the place for the snuffers (because they snuff out the flame),
The stoneware/clay pot showed at around 11:37 was a traditional Chinese cooking pot. Older generation mainly use it to cook mutton, chicken and any strong favour dishes. It comes with diffident shapes too! There’s a petite version with smaller lid and single handle, Chinese ppl use it to prepare Chinese herbal medicines
OMG, I absolutely LOVE the copper pot! $40 is a steal! I love everything you get and am so enjoying your shopping videos. Plus, you’re teaching me at the same time, what a bonus! Oh how I wish you could redo my place! I cannot imagine what your beautiful mind would envision, your decorating, to me, always creates a story and I’m obsessed. Thank you for sharing your heart, mind and visions with us Drew!
I had so much FUN going Antiquing and Estate sale shopping with you and Justin, in this video! Your Positive, Happy Vibe and Beautiful Smile and Style, always cheer me up! Thank you, both! 🙂
For me, in Australia, Drew, you are my first thing to do Monday morning, with a cup of hot coffee. OMG! what incredible finds. I was so hoping you would buy that gorgeous hanging light fixture...the style, the colour, chefs kiss for me. I'm obsessed with candle holders, wall sconce, etc. Sadly, I don't have a house that they would be suited too though, yet 😉 Mine is more modern but contains my older style furnishings. Time to sell 😂 The furniture items you filmed too, the bar(?) and buffet, beautiful pieces. Love, love, love you and Justin on your adventures together ❤️ Thank you for brightening my day 😊
Drew you find the best stuff! I love all that you got. My favorite part is to watch you get so excited about all your incredible finds! You have a great eye for that! Thanks for sharing!❤
I think my favorite part of this haul is how you enjoy handmade pottery! I feel that people seldom realize how much work and care goes into making handmade ceramics both handbuilt and on the wheel! I love seeing people enjoying ceramic work, makes me want to make pottery again!
I especially like your 1st few pieces of metalware. Your "teapot" is actually a kettle, I fell in love with it the second I saw it, good buy. Ohhh the 2 ceramic pots are super decor pieces.
@ 2:01 I believe that is a retractable light fixture. My grandmother had one in her dining room. One light tug you could pull it down to replace the light bulb. Another light tug and it retracted back. Love seeing what shops have in different places. Thanks for taking us along.
I love watching you go through the stores. That lamp you said was so interesting was our dining room lamp over the dining room table. I was born in' 52 so who all the stuff you're looking at was in my home when I was growing up
Great haul! I was so excited to see that you picked up that tea kettle, so gorgeous! All the pottery pieces are gorgeous! Love the vibe you’re going with in your new home!
Another great video Drew! Thanks for taking us along with you and showing all the cool stuff - it's like being there in person! That last stool looked like an AT-AT walker from Star Wars.
Drew, I love these videos SO MUCH! I am not kidding if you did a 2 hour version of this I might have to put it on pause from time to time but I swear I would watch every second!!!
I love seeing you discover all the treasures you found ..👍👏😊finding items from the past and using them in our homes is so much more cozy, homey, and cool than just having new items!
I wish I'd told you about my friend's family estate sale in South Pasadena a couple of weeks ago. The parents had their own antiques store for years, so the house was full of wonderful quirky stuff and the house itself is gorgeous.
Fun video Drew! Thanks for taking us along. So, how do you clean all your vintage items? For instance, do you ever lightly scrub the metal pieces, or use a toothbrush to dry dust them? Do you ever vacuum off old frames and paintings with the brush attachment? Do you ever use liquid Bar Keepers friend to loosen up old grime from metal? I am curious.
Drew, I love you so much! Your excitement over the wall sconces with the snuffers, was an adorable moment. And i adore the portrait of the little girl! 💜
You reminded me of my younger days at my grandparents house. The dinner table was always formally set with sterling silver, flower centerpiece and tall candles that were extinguished with the silver snuffer. Of course all the kids enjoyed taking turns (fighting over)with that. It’s a good thing you bought a big house to style it with the great finds you come home with.
Omggggg my favorite thing you got is that incredible driftwood candle holder! What an amazing centerpiece. I love wood like that so much. Everything else you got is so perfect for you and your home. I watched this video with breakfast and it was a lovely way to start the day. Thanks for all your videos Drew : )
OMG, you are so lucky to have so many fabulous antique, Thrift stores and Estate sales down there. So many interesting and beautiful pieces. I'm so jealous.
Love that copper POT !!! WOW !!!! When you found it I yelled at the lap top..."I'll take it if you don't !! LOL !!!!! 5 candle holder is also awesome ! It all looks as if it totally belongs in your house !! Its crappy and cold here in NY so I want to jump on a plane and come out there to shop !! Lets go ! You know of all the GREAT spots to shop !!! lol !!!!
I know with your excitement over candle holders you are going to start a a new generation of candle lovers instead of just jar candles. Love love the tea kettle!!!Made my heart just pitter patter!! Can’t wait til the next adventure.
That copper tea pot is amazing. Those wooden chairs will make a great mudroom piece to put shoes on or drap a jacket across. or a hat on the chair. That little stool with the handle stick reminds me of a starwars imperial walker robot. LOL
East-coaster here! You have some awesome shopping destinations in LA! Love your finds, especially the sweet little girl. I checked out a local antique shop as well on Sunday - aptly named Oh My Gosh!
Wow Drew I frikin adore that Copper and Brass Kettle !! Swooooooning and that little Oil Painting ...would go straight to my Illumination Elimination room (the WC) so I could gaze at it daily and up close! I may have shoved You out of the way to grab those sconces LOL they are so frikin cool! (Lucky I live down in New Zealand)
First of all your light and glimmer shines the. I'm super grateful to be able to share in your passion for beauty. Thank you to all who shared in getting you to the point of comfort and shimmer where u get to share with all of us. I'm inspired by you to remember I am good the way I was made and that I'm allowed to shine brighy.much love
Great finds! You have the best eye for just about everything. I may have to watch this one again. I kept pausing it do to the Oscar's. OMG JAMIE LEE CURTIS WON! You know her mother and father both had been nominated for Oscar's but never won. Boy did I lose track of things. Love ya, Gigi
It's so fun watching your excitement! You could hang the children's chairs on a wall like shelves or use as end tables next to a sofa or bed? Beautiful finds!
It sad they have past ,but I feel blessed to get the work of a artist that has passed it's like you are marking the fact you have a piece of their talent. It great to find time when they are alive and know them, but it's just a different feel after they have pasted.
I had just arrived to watch a podcast and lo and behold i noticed.... I may have a problem....I went... Oh Noooo, clicked on and said... Oh Yayyyy!! I'm a little snow jumpy, so high out there that I cant see the windows across the way. Has been one of those great kind of snow days. I love that you take us with you shopping.! My very first job out of high school, was at Bob Big Boy in Whittier, (umm, cant remember how its spelled) and saw one of their Big Boy Figures as you walked in the first store...Brought back some big smiles. Great haul Drew! Loved the many different candle pieces you picked up. I probably would have broken a leg running for that. As soon as I saw those chairs...I thought Plant Stand!!! Thanks again for sharing. It is a good thing I am far from California antique shops, I would never have any money left at the end of the month LOL. Of course, I am snowed in right now so shopping with you is so perfect. Take Care and looking forward to your next room. It is always an emotional thing for me watching you create in your piece of heaven. Many Blessings to You and Yours~
Than k you for sharing. Thrifting seems fun! The teapot is insanely good find. The color is nice and the weird little shapes on it was just the right embellishments.
Just as i finished watching macennas video 🥹
Still wiping tears
Me too.
I’m sure they are timing it perfectly on purpose, and I love them for it
Same! ❤
Same! 🥰
Sundays are Drew and MaCenna days, and they are the BEST days!!!
Same, all the way in the Netherlands haha
Awwww!!! Macenna and I love a good Sunday!!
You used the word cute 8 times / find some new adjectives
I want to see a video of any thrifted items, antiques, or furniture you regret purchasing or did not live up to how you thought they would look in a space or for the purpose it was intended for
Ohhh this is a fun one!
great idea because I've definitely gotten things that I don't like later on lol
If thrifting and antiques are your problem then I am pretty sure we all suffer from the safe issue! Your taste in certain items are exquisite Drew!
Think she meant (suffer from *same issue) lol
Haha!!! Thank you so much Rebecca
That last candle holder was basically a flashlight to get around the house at night before electricity. 😊
I love how in sync you and Justin are. You both literally see an item at the same time then it’s a rush to see who gets to experience the texture first! I’ve been watching your channel for ages and it just keeps getting better and better 😊
Hello Lunar, how are you doing and
how is the weather over there?
What could be better than antique shopping with you and Justin? I just LOVE these videos...
I am 66 and have a house full of stuff so I have no need to buy more but I watch your videos on thrifting, etc because you are such a joy to watch, especially your enthusiasm. I particularly like the candelabra and the wall sconces with the place for the snuffers (because they snuff out the flame),
The candle snuffer scnocnes are so fun!
Drew, thank you for visiting us at King Richards! I’m so happy you stopped by my booth. My booth is the one that had the Tiki lamp.🙌🏼😊
This is exciting maybe he'll return and you can actually have a meet & greet moment.
The stoneware/clay pot showed at around 11:37 was a traditional Chinese cooking pot. Older generation mainly use it to cook mutton, chicken and any strong favour dishes. The most mundane teapots are going for $40, and look what you got!
I had so much FUN going Antiquing and Estate sale shopping with you and Justin, in this video! Your Positive, Happy Vibe and Beautiful Smile and Style, always cheer me up! Thank you, both! 🙂
I'm so HAPPY that you bought the copper teapot!
I was yelling at the screen " Buy it Drew!!!" Lol
It’s a kettle…
Yes, it's a kettle to boil the water to make the tea in another pot. I have one and drink tea.😊
Me too! That was my favorite thing 🫖🥰
Drew the leaf candle holder is beautiful! Thanks for taking us with you Drew and Justin.
You hit the jackpot! I love everything you showed especially the leaf candle holder!!!!
Wasn't she so cute!!
The teapot!!!!! My favorite, so glad you got it and at a good price. Looking forward to seeing it styled in your beautiful kitchen. How fun.

Drew you find the best stuff! I love all that you got. My favorite part is to watch you get so excited about all your incredible finds! You have a great eye for that! Thanks for sharing!❤
The ONLY place the "cute little girl painting" should be placed is in one of those Annabelle movies
Wow, some really beautiful finds! That teapot and the sconces are to die for.
I happily live antiquing vicariously through you. Thank you so much for the fix 🥰
Love the rose stem metal taper holder. The driftwood candle holder might be cool in a fireplace!
@ 2:01 I believe that is a retractable light fixture. My grandmother had one in her dining room. One light tug you could pull it down to replace the light bulb. Another light tug and it retracted back. Love seeing what shops have in different places. Thanks for taking us along.

Drew and Macenna just makes the Monday blues go buh-bye! Love from the islands of the Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
Another great video Drew! Thanks for taking us along with you and showing all the cool stuff - it's like being there in person! That last stool looked like an AT-AT walker from Star Wars.
I'm so glad I saw this comment because I said out loud "that stool looks like it's from Star Wars" and I'm glad I'm not the only one! 😄
Estate sales are the best. People hold on to things forever, tons of good finds. I love giving old things a new purpose in my home.
You're the best part of Sunday! You're adorable, I loved your chefs kiss moment today. You've inspired my own decor choices.
Love, love the candle holders with snuffers. What a super find!
Great pieces but the cutest thing you found was Tucker. He's such a well behaved dog.
Your enthusiasm as you describe your antique haul is so delightful and uplifting. LOVE your work ! ❤
The candle sconces with sniffers are so cool. The little girl portrait, I’m sorry but she scares me😂
I had forgotten how much I love Tramp Art!❤️ It’s so incredible - and many times will have the most amazing stories behind the pieces!
Drew, I love these videos SO MUCH! I am not kidding if you did a 2 hour version of this I might have to put it on pause from time to time but I swear I would watch every second!!!
The reason I rarely watch any of the streaming services I am paying for.
There isn't ANYTHING I don't love! Each and every piece was just exquisite. What great finds!!!

I honestly don't really do much unless there is visible dirt or something I know i can get off!

Love all your finds. FYI- the three-legged stool is an old milking stool. Thanks for all your DIY design inspiration.
Love all of your finds. Very, very few antique or thrift stores where I live - none locally. So jealous.

Drew this video was so interesting, each time you picked up a painting, I thought of McCenna and how she would love them. Best wishes from London.
You are such a true artist...99% of people never look up, even when they're in museums, lol!!! I love that you notice the unseen.
Being a collector and dealer of antiques and collectibles, just loved the content you covered, These shops have a beautiful collection.

Omg, that tea kettle !! ❤❤❤❤
Most of my decor items are thrifted. I like traditional furniture (dark and cozy and jewel toned) and so, that has been easy enough to find.
Those were some amazing pieces. I love it when you take us on your vintage shopping days. Can't wait to see where you decide to put each decor piece.
