There’s So much Potential at The Convent, Workshops, Art,Music,Renovation etc, Pop Up Restaurants, Craft Fayres, Music Events, Local Produce Fayres, Community Events, Photo Shoots/Filming Endless list…
The trunk with the different compartments was my favourite piece. These antique places are like mini museums where you can buy the displays if you like them, they are awesome
That was a lovely tour of that huge brocante. So many amazing antiques. The furniture was so varied and easy to browse. Next time bring the truck to haul so treasures back. You could hear the music even under your voice over. Too funny. Enjoy your night. 😘
In Belgium I worked for the PTT. It means Post, Telegraphe and Telephone. The bag was to bring a telegrammessage to its destination. The name PTT was used in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and France. In France it is now known as La Poste and France Télécom.
Very nice, clean and some wonderful antiques here and makes me wish I could go there. Not many things I enjoy more than strolling through a nice antique store! Thank you for this sweet video. 💕💕
Hi Ryan. Great tour. could be a lovely earner for you - tours of antique / Brocante, in different areas - I’d certainly consider trailing along (and you’d be doing something you love).
Thanks Ryan for another glorious day of shopping for antiques. It was a lot of fun and yes that store was well put to gather very nice and well organized store.
Most travel trunks came equipped with compartments, they were often made of a type of cardboard so didn't last. As a dealer we have had several examples but it makes them less practical for storage really.
Hey Ryan, Thank you for taking all of us along with you & Billy on your antique adventure, I love antiques myself I think the workmanship on the furniture is so much more superior than things made today. God Bless, see you next time. Kathy 🇺🇸
Hey Ryan, that antique mall is massive and very nice, it's so clean and laid out nicely, that is an idea for part of the convent. I think you should look into voicing audio books; your voice is soothing and easy to listen too. Thanks for taking us.
Such an amazing antiques mall! The furniture, silver, everything was wonderful. Those large pieces would look nice in de la Basmagnier but the visages would scare me, so might likely scare the kids too! Even the dogs would be scared of the faces! I loved the hunting lodge table with dogs as footings. Can you imagine what Little Bertie would think?💗
Billy will house his own antique shop i reckon in the convent and perhaps an old person's residence too. I certainly hope so. Ryan.could be his buyer !
What a beautifully displayed shop. I lived the way everthing wa set out so you could see it. I can imagine something like this at the Convent, it would do well, very classy. 💕🇦🇺
Ryan my darling, all the beautiful antique furniture. I love the tall buffet, and the matching piece. So much to see and admire. You and Billy looking good. I like the fact that you are making up for lost time. See ya tomorrow. Take care and stay safe ❤️🕊🙏👍🌞🌹🌈🎈🍺😇🇺🇸
It's impressive how clean and well laid out that place is most of the antique shops I've seen are all cluttered and not really laid out well although that's part of the fun to dig through all the clutter lol.
Wow! Really nice. I’m with you on beautiful mirrors (especially gold and feminine ornate mirrors) and beautiful marquetry. I also love fancy chandeliers. Thank you for taking us there. Wish I could go and spend some time looking.
Ryan...I've only discovered your channel this week, but you and Billy have quickly become my favorite TH-camrs. I'm also of a vintage variety and mentioned in one of your videos that I grew up in St. Germain-en-Laye in grade school in the 60s. I have the most wonderful memories of my young formative years in France and Europe. You mentioned you also grew up in France since the age of five and it shows. I've been back several times and pray I haven't made my last trip there. I watched some of your older videos which are all wonderful...but this video, in particular, struck me at how you have become so professional in your narration along with having the time of your life. I'm so impressed with your French and you speak it as if you were a French citizen. I feel like your life is about to take a seriously big turn for great things as you move forward. Billy is such a wonderful friend and I can see clearly how the two of you complement each other's interests and personalities. Keep up the hard work and growing the direction of your career. By the way, I now live in Texas, which is a wonderful place to live, the people are all lovely and kind, but my heart longs for the beauty and history that makes up the wonderful country of France. I choose to ignore those that are native to France that don't like Americans. We definitely have our own share of pratts, but that makes life interesting. You certainly blend in so well. I wish I could take a series of French classes from you and polish my own French-speaking. Good luck to you and keep the antiques and architecture restoration and road trips coming!!!
Hi, Ryan. I didn’t really know of who you are until I started watching the videos of the convent; the château for me came later. I love that convent. I realize you are there to view the bigger items, but I love fine china and small items. I would love to see the stamped label on the backs of some of those pieces! I love the religious antiques as well. A day in that place wd be like heaven! You are so blessed! I really enjoyed this video today. I am liking your channel very much. You seem like a fun and likeable person.
Hi,Ryan. I agree with you about that beautiful round top desk....worth every penny for you new office. Also, at the 16:19 point in this video, that small brown table with the little scalloped headboard and shelf ( approximately 3' wide x 2.5' deep x 4.5' tall) would make a lovely little "coffee bar" for your office. You could even have a small microwave or hot plate there for your lunches. Set a small trailing plant( not ivy) on one side and a small violet, primrose, cyclamen or cineraria plant on the other side. These plants are just suggestions...I'm mainly referring to their compact size, but they all have a variety of colours available. You also can hang or stack some cups and saucers, plates, etc on the table as well. Maybe find an antique trash can and a few knick knacks? Definitely hang quite a few paintings in the room....what ever ones that "speak " to you. They don't have to "match" either. They will reflect your various interests and styles( personalized) The " odd " pieces will be conversation items. Lol...find some really different/ crazy, little thing and discreetly place it somewhere in the room. See how long it takes for someone to notice it !😄 Have fun with your space. Good luck and happy hunting.
Here I am antique shopping with Billy & Ryan again, safe from spending any money. This shop, although very large, is set up quite nicely, very organized which makes it not so overwhelming to go through. Good job Ryan narrating, I love your enthusiasm.
I love such places. A museum where everything is for sale !! A great place to go Christmas shopping. Thanks for sharing this walk through. I wish I could have been there with you.
I like how this shop is curated and set up nicely. I always feel overwhelmed in the cluttered, stacked too high and dirty displays. This is worthy to emulate if you would ever run this type of business. I feel claustrophobic if it is stacked up to the ceiling.
Ryan, I really and truly absolutely LOVE your antiques vlogs!!! Keep them coming! I'm almost jealous, as in The Netherlands, after the great financial crisis, most have disappeared. So, THANK you!! I would love to go antiques shopping with Billy and of course you. I'm an art historian by university studies (don't work in the sector), it's still my great passion and you give me lots of arty food, thank you!
I'm telling ya, you need to buy some antique oriental rugs for Billy's Convent. At least something like a Bokhara, Kashan, Bakhtiari, or even something finer like a Nain or Qum silk rug. That Convent deserves a nice floor piece here and there to inspire the rest of the interior design.
I think a great job for you would be antique shopping guide. Where you take tourist/people for a day to various stores (and translate if needed). And to top it off your very entertaining
I enjoy rummaging through multi-seller antique shops in Idaho (USA). But since our history (aside from Native American) is so much younger than European countries, I seldom see many items that pre-date my grandparents.
in case you didn't know, the desk at @1:40 is called a Secrétaire , i love them, especially the ones with a cylinder top. These ones are also called Bureau à cylindre.
Great video Ryan! I enjoyed seeing all of those wonderful old antiques! The pieces that you speculated being from an old chateau were stunning! You couldn’t talk Billy into purchasing them and hiring a van to deliver them?
Oh my, I could roam in there for hours. We have a huge one in Ft Worth, Texas in the old Ben Hogan golf factory, but it isn’t any where near that size.
I can see this sort of set up at the convent. Billy could run a bookstore from his library and a cafe from the kitchen area.
I thought the chapel could be used for singers, musicians and bands.
There’s So much Potential at The Convent, Workshops, Art,Music,Renovation etc, Pop Up Restaurants, Craft Fayres, Music Events, Local Produce Fayres, Community Events, Photo Shoots/Filming Endless list…

PTT was the post office from the Netherlands. It stands for Post Telegraaf Telefoon. Meaning letters Telegraph and fone until the year1990.
In Belgium I worked for the PTT. It means Post, Telegraphe and Telephone. The bag was to bring a telegrammessage to its destination. The name PTT was used in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and France. In France it is now known as La Poste and France Télécom.

Hi Ryan, so happy to join you on your adventures today. 😀
Thanks Ryan, quite enjoying you explaining antiques to us in a nice Ryan normal voice, really lovely to hear your views too
Good video Ryan!
Very nice, very nice indeed !! 😊❤
Hi Ryan. Great tour. could be a lovely earner for you - tours of antique / Brocante, in different areas - I’d certainly consider trailing along (and you’d be doing something you love).
Best video in a long time. Your voice over was nice; well produced and professional.
Thanks Ryan for another glorious day of shopping for antiques. It was a lot of fun and yes that store was well put to gather very nice and well organized store.
Thanks Ryan for another spectacular video.. I saw 37 items that would of ended up in my car boot ... ❤️
Antiques and seniors would be a perfect match I would be thrilled living beside an antique shop. Especially one that size
Most travel trunks came equipped with compartments, they were often made of a type of cardboard so didn't last. As a dealer we have had several examples but it makes them less practical for storage really.

Thank you love looking in the antique shop’s 😘🇨🇦
Wow - my partner would have loved that antique shop !
Beautiful antiques!! Thank you for sharing 🤎🔥🍂
Where is this amazing cluster of shops please Ryan-really enjoyed this.❤
Hey Ryan, that antique mall is massive and very nice, it's so clean and laid out nicely, that is an idea for part of the convent. I think you should look into voicing audio books; your voice is soothing and easy to listen too. Thanks for taking us.
Yes - I agree on both counts 👍
Such an amazing antiques mall! The furniture, silver, everything was wonderful. Amazing place, thanks for showing us xxx💕
Ryan Some Nice Pieces. This week Bought a Lovely Oak Bible Box 1614 date. With it Written on. Have a Good Week. Xx 👍😊
What a beautifully displayed shop. I lived the way everthing wa set out so you could see it. I can imagine something like this at the Convent, it would do well, very classy. 💕🇦🇺
You did a great job with the commentary. You sounded so professional!
Love those purple lights, so mid century 💜
oh my, that lovely place would have me broke in minutes.... broke, but happy! great video Ryan!
That is a quality shop
Loved all those antiques. Here when you have several vendors in a building it's called an indoor flea market.
Your videos are getting better and better Ryan. Love them all !
It's impressive how clean and well laid out that place is most of the antique shops I've seen are all cluttered and not really laid out well although that's part of the fun to dig through all the clutter lol.
Fantastic video, I do so enjoy watching your antique trips.
So many beautiful things. That beautiful trunk is just what I’m looking for. I wish.
Loved seeing inside the antique store. Makes one drool. You are a great tourist guide. Hugs
What grand displays they have. It really sets each item in its best light. Love this place!
What an amazing shop, I could get into some serious mischief there...
Wow! Really nice. I’m with you on beautiful mirrors (especially gold and feminine ornate mirrors) and beautiful marquetry. I also love fancy chandeliers. Thank you for taking us there. Wish I could go and spend some time looking.
That was a wonderful antique mall. Thank you for the tour.
We have antique stores in this area in what had been large cotton weaving manufacturers many years ago. Great pickin’!
Was there in Feb on the way from Bordeaux to Toulouse💜💜💜
What a place Ryan! I’d love a rummage around in there .. so much to tempt us ❤️

Let's get this tour started..
Thanks for sharing this amazing place 🏢
Happy Autumn everyone••• 🍁🍂
I really enjoyed this antique mall, Ryan. I really wish I could be there to visit it. Thank you for sharing this!
Beautiful things there.
6:17 love the clear glass sausage dog 🐶
I saw a Tiffany lamp and a vase I quite like.
I like that sort of set up for The Convent. A mixed use housing and business complex.
Lovely shop full of beautiful treasures. Enjoyed
Wonderful antique store. I love to go and just look getting new ideas for my doll houses. Have a wonderful day

Ryan,
Great shop, thank you for the tour. Just one more thing….You forgot to say I’m gonna love you and leave you at the end! 🥲
Ryan I loved this vlog .I am sure yourself and billy had a great time X
You might want to show the bathtubs and especially the sink to Michael. He's planning his bathroom shortly I think.
I love such places. A museum where everything is for sale !! A great place to go Christmas shopping. Thanks for sharing this walk through. I wish I could have been there with you.
Very interesting. Thanks Ryan 👍🏻❤️😊
Loved it! Thanks for going slow enough that we could look too.
Lovely video beautiful furniture most enjoyable

Ah! je ne savais pas du tout. Merci pour l'info! 😄
That was such a lovely walk through the antique shop Ryan. What beautiful items!! Thank you for a wonderful commentary as well!
So much fun to see so many lovely items.
Love to go shopping in there…nice.
That’s a very nice antique shop 😱
I agree that the Mirror and the cainet would look lovely in one of billy's properties
We call them antique malls. What a great concept and reuse of that building.
I love this content. I’m in the states and I love antiques. Thank you for your efforts. This is lovely.
That desk is just beautiful and very affordable!!
That was beautiful... loved all of it. No way I'll ever speak French... but I totally adore the video's of the awesome shops!
Great tour of the Antique store thanks for showing us what they had so many wonderful pieces
Thanks for the trip thru the antique store. If I ever get to France antique stores are on my list.
If love to see how you would decorate your own apartment. X
I like how this shop is curated and set up nicely. I always feel overwhelmed in the cluttered, stacked too high and dirty displays. This is worthy to emulate if you would ever run this type of business. I feel claustrophobic if it is stacked up to the ceiling.
Hi, loving these videos!! PTT used to be the Dutch postal service. Could it be a postmans bag? Although I do not recognize it as being used…

Wow, I'm loving the antique shops
You sound like you have just come from your funeral director class ! Those dulcet tones are marvellous .
Thanks for the shopping tour. Too bad the loud music was playing. We enjoy you and Billy joking with each other.
Incredible antiques shop
Nice store, and beautifully covered
I think a great job for you would be antique shopping guide. Where you take tourist/people for a day to various stores (and translate if needed). And to top it off your very entertaining
that dining table with the dogs is amazing
