Only 24k subs? You’ve got to be kidding me! This guy nails Harley allure. He understands riding, the culture, etc. Sign me up and sucker punch the bell.
Been a H-D guy since I was 15 years old and today at 63 H-D is still my primary Bike. 5’11” 185lbs and I’ve owned and ridden every brand available in the USA and there’s only 2 Bikes that’ve never left me stranded, H-D and Yamaha. I own 1 of each. Ride On.
Good video, mate. Great explanation on the price tag discussion. If people didn’t think they were worth it, no HDs would be sold and they would be extinct. This is hardly the case in this instance. All things are only worth what one is willing to pay for it!
Man I like your content more and more. Despite of learning english, ground slang expressions from Straya that I just love, the bright observations are so juicy! Thanks Damian!
@@OldNotDead-Club nah! Come on! Love it and fun to hear. Most of my Straya friends rides too so I have plenty ppl to ask what the hell this BOGAN said (haha- I don't mean to harm, just little showoff!) Thanks and wathing further on your vids. Actually after your vids I bought 2021 H-D too. Aftermarket, but hope one day ST, brand new. It's a hell of a bike. In Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride it will be rode through Warsaw, Poland. hopely over 340 bikes this year. You did episode with OneMillionDollarBogan, it's kinda familiar thing. Both comes from Australia though! Great job to you guys there!
Great video mate.... Always a pleasure visiting many HD dealerships all over Oz and like you said, there is always someone more than happy to talk to and share experiences with. One big very well connected biker family! HD's are the kings of customization. Being able to make your bike into what ever you want is a huge selling point that appeals to the masses! Ride safe mate 😎
Great channel....im a new Harley owner ...its always been my dream to own a Harley...I love everything this bike has to offer .. amazing sound and great looks . thanks for all the helpfull tips .you a big help.
"The Gent" Michael Madsen from the movie "Hell Ride." Larry Bishop, Joey's son, starred in and directed a really good biker flick. Also starring Dennis Hopper and David Carradine.
Agree am past the crotch rocket stage am now a criuser bike rider, and have been for some years now. I agree with you even though i dont ride a harley...but do ride a V twin...its an Indian. I know, its not a harley, but everyone to his own.
👍 Thumbs up for another great video. Loved the music you mixed into it. Neat to see the tattooing. I'm a supporter of independent bike shops. Keep up the good work. Greetings from U.S.A. 😎
I just bought my first new HD, a sport glide, even more expensive in my country than in the states. I love it and after 6 months I have changed a lot of things , high flow air filter, fp, handlebar…..that is part of the fun. My brother in law didnt change anything on his Harley, he consider a sacrilege change the original parts of it. Just different mindsets.
Actually - Just be GRATEFUL. Give thanks and try and be present. Easy said but takes practice. Had that conversation with daughter No1 this evening. As for store of energy DCA into Bcoin and wait 7 years (not FSA😆).
I didn’t buy Harley Davidson to go fast. I bought a cruiser to Cruise . I bought a Harley Davidson because I like them, My brother had a Harley when I was 10 years old, he was always trying to take me for ride, but, I always refused, you could say I was afraid being young. Tragically a year later he passed away at 21 years old, I’ve been chasing that ride that I never took with him ever since. I will continue to ride in his memory. So now he’s riding with me. RIP MY BROTHER.
I brought a lighter faster, harley. The Sportster S. 2 years later, I traded it for the heaver slower street bob cause I'm older, slower, and just love softails.
😎👍 Sorry to correct you but Harley Davidson does make a Standard and Low model in the Ultra since 2014... I ride a 2015 Ultra Classic Low and even though I'm horizontally challenged at 5ft 7in (1.702m) I can sit with both feet flat on the ground, which is something I couldn't do on a Standard model... Big thumbs up for the channel...
I bought my first HD 14 years ago (Road King Classic) and really liked the bike, but I didn't do much distance riding (200+ miles per ride) so 7 years ago I sold it. I've been wanting a Softail, but here in So Cal the used market is overpriced and I refuse to pay top dollar for a slow, heavy and low tech bike. I love riding but I don't ride to gain attention or to be looked at. I ride because of the way it makes me feel (if you ride you know what I'm talking about). I once had the fever to replace my RK with a Softail, but not so much anymore. Until I can get a reasonable deal on one locally I'll keep riding my Japanese V-Twin build.
The biggest issue is the Harley mainstay demographic is aging out and probably only have one or two bike buys left in them. We need to find a way to get the upcoming generations who are still building up their disposable income into them. I think the new sportster line is a good start. The X series is a little small in capacity, that needs to offer a 750 sized option to fill that hole.
I agree they cost what they cost there not for everyone and also there is a inport tax thet K rudd put on bikes plus exchange rate plus shiping cost to get tyhem here also look at Indan and Ducati which also cost a lot Harleys rock and are my fav but each to there own if you like them get one if not don't it's that simple.
Anybody buying a bike usually does some research In all my years of riding I have never ridden an unmodified bike usually that means upgraded air cleaner and exhaust so any experienced rider allows for this Mango
The sound of a Harley, at idle, is so soothing. I think it's because it reminds me of my Mom's heartbeat, and how it comforted me when I was in the womb, and suckling at her breast.
They are fine, just not for everyone… the problem is when you compare them to what other manufacturer offers, they are underwhelming equipped.. on the other hand they hold their value, and an old one is about as good as a new ones take that for what it is…customization it’s a winner, not gonna win many races but it doesn’t need to…
No other motorcycle manufactured has as many aftermarket upgrades and custom parts as harley davidson, had a metric cruiser and let's just say VERY limited when it comes to aftermarket customization with a harley Your only limit is your wallet.
I don't have a problem with the cost of a Harley, I have a problem with their customer service. I have been riding Harley's for over 40 years and go back 15 years if you walked into a dealership to buy a CVO they would give you the VIP treatment and the bike was better than the standard. You would get all the go faster bits in the engine. With the 117 engine they changed the trim on the motor. Also Harley Davidson as a company does not give a rats are about the buyer and if you order not so common parts off them be patient. I have waited 10 months for my anniversary top box. I phone Harley, speak to the switch bitch and that is as far as I get. Harley do not give a shit
Yeh we should all be grateful to H-D lol. What else would "old but not dead" men spend their large disposable incomes on. Most mods are centred around "decorating" as opposed to any gain in function. H-D riders are most concerned about "turning heads" & making noise. Nothing wrong with that though. But that's not interesting to many other riders. I had one H-D. It was alright, but I moved on. I used to be able to afford one, but didn't want one. Now I can't afford a one, but I still don't want one. Harley owners assume that everyone want's one, & is awe struck by them. There are bikes other than H-Ds & sport bikes. Just regular bikes being enjoyed by average riders for fun, not attention, bragging rights, or tribalism. I'm not into religion either !. No offense, but you seem to have drank a bit of the Kool-Aid.
Since you're not into religion, I must assume that you also go to videos about religion to comment that you're not into it and don't care for those that are, because they seem too proud of their religion to suit you. Makes sense. Cheers
