Hope you will share when she paints it on the canvas. So wonderful to see her really enjoy herself with painting. She's quite the budding artist! I also love the teapot you found.

I think keeping the closets light and bright will make it fresher . My suggestion would be …to wallpaper the back wall only would add a punch of pizzazz..❤

I'm sorry for whatever you are grieving.. I know personal loss. Yesterday was my mom's 6 month death anniversary. I completely agree about not needing to speak any words but just silently bearing witness to another's pain.. that is so helpful.. I didn't receive that comfort so as I am trying to piece together my life and move forward.. I am trying to be mindful of what I went through and how to offer " better" to others. A verse which comforts me greatly and seems to keep popping up in my devotions is, Psalms 34:18
The Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit." The teapot is great! Vivian's art is really touching. This one feels moody. ❤️

We feel like we need to take the pain away somehow but in my life I've been through unbelievable tragedy and all I actually needed was someone to just be. Just sit. Just stay. I think that's exactly what you did during your trip. God bless you for it ❤

I love your channel! Your voice is always so calming and I have watched so many other home decorating videos that are rushed. I think the green in the closet would be too dark. This was lovely and relaxing. OK, the closet: why not pick a color from the wallpaper? Your daughter's painting: I am an artist and I can tell you she has real talent. I just love it - it is a windmill! Your sadness, thanks for sharing what you were able to. I hope the sadness is lifted soon. So look forward to these videos. They are so therapeutic. Yes, sometimes I clean around things and that is okay. I tell myself "it's all I can for now, it's the new me, I'll save the rest for another day - which does come when, as you say, I feel inspired to do so." Oh Sarah, praying for peace in this time of sadness. WINDOW: I would encourage you to get another bid, several actually. I redid my kitchen, soon after buying our home. It was completely outdated, dark Tuscan style, and only 2 - single windows, one on each side of the sink. I wanted more light and room. I had a choice: move the second story roof line or blow open the kitchen wall. You can imagine the cost for getting an architect and building engineer involved to move the roofline! We went with blowing out the wall and installed one big 11ft window, with side panels that crank open, over the kitchen sink! WOW! The difference it has made! A view to the backyard (pool, outdoor dining room and garden)! I can now have beautiful plants that grow because of the light! Don’t give up on your kitchen dreams! 😊

I have found that long term I like my closets to be light and neutral. Dark closets something make it difficult to find things . Also, your bid for the window seems excessive. Of course, I realize the cost of living in your area is much higher, so maybe that is fair. But, you might get a second bid just to check.
I’m so sorry for the grief that your friend has experienced, somethings just don’t make sense. But God sees the big picture and He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. That thought alone brings me great comfort. May the Lord bless and keep your sweet family as you serve Jesus.

I have all my closets painted white to be able to see everything. My closets don’t have lighting in them and I need all the help I can get to see. I hope you feel better. Will pray for you. I clean everything as well when things go sideways. That’s a lot of money just for a window. How much cabinet space would you loose? If you had to sell, would you be able to get your money back? When I’m looking at buying a home I look at how many cabinets there are. Maybe a skylight?? Just ideas sweetie, take care ~ Janet 😘.

Here is a very inexpensive solution to your window situation...Amazon has Cute Cottage Window Grids - easy to install and pop out to clean windows. Gives that pained cottage look. Worked for me! If this is not your forever home why invest $$$$ on non essentials. Keep that money for important things for your home furnace, a.c., plumbing, electric, etc. Anyway I enjoy your content - thanks for sharing. Be well in mind, body and spirit.

I make those jalapeno poppers all the time, but I find its a bit cheaper & easier to just add real bacon bits in the cream cheese mixture. My heart has been broken over your friends loss. Praying for peace & comfort for everyone.

I don't understand your new obsession with light and airy, your home used to be so warm and cozy and traditional and now it looks like an old lady who can't go out in the sun anymore so she wants her house to look like a summer day instead of a warm cozy cove
