STEM Teacher Training Workshop for Primary Teachers

Dr. Diana Wehrell-Grabowski conducts a Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) teacher training workshop for K and 1st Grade teachers. Teachers are introduced to STEM philosophy and concepts, engineering design process, and reflective journaling. Teachers conducted numerous investigations over a two-day period to explore the following concepts: structure and function, biomimicry, math and architecture, boat engineering, materials science, ramp science, reverse engineering, and sound engineering.
