Thanks! E30 is getting a turbo S50 and a whole revamp. When I have time.
I put a Ilx-511 head unit in mine. Replace all speakers with Infinity Kappa's with a 6 ch audio control amp and audio control sub amp with 2 kickers 10's.
Probably sounds great! But that's much more involved than my setup. This was all pretty easy to install.

@Matt13Ross yeah had to get a maestro to keep all factory functions
I thought the stereo I had technical issues but, they have a literal papers that tells you the exact problems to why it doesn’t work, although I did made sure I fully reset the entire settings after I did a few adjustments, if yours don’t do it look at the instructions of the trouble shoot and then reset your stereo and redo it again.
I love it. The only thing I can’t get to work on mine is the audio with TH-cam and movies
TH-cam works in mine, haven't tried movies.
So is there a way to use the factory GPS antenna because my truck's already got one on the roof maybe an adapter plug I don't know if the plugs are the same
I'll keep hammering--it's hard to believe that someone who made such great decisions on the 996TT could drive around in public on these wheels.
I love em! Will get beefier tires eventually though.
@@matt13ross the chrome/polished is bad enough, but the offset is the worst.
Polished wheels match the chrome on the truck.

@@purplmoke75I guess us poor people understand it completely. Those wheels stick out past the fenders and are thus illegal in just about every state in the US. They also cause damage to vehicles behind you that would normally get caught by said fender. That doesn’t include the damage to your own vehicle when said debris gets thrown into the bed side and so on.
I fully support him restoring and upgrading his vehicles and even appreciate the wheels but for show use only. With dash cams becoming the norm people with wide tires are going to start having their insurance nailed for damaged windshields and/or dent, paint damage. If it’s illegal in your state you can guarantee that it will be that driver’s responsibility.
No different than all those Tree hugging EV owners going after my Diesel tuning, complaining about my black smoke thus making it illegal.
Put a similar sub in the Porsche for sure. For a truck this big I would have loved to see a proper custom sub box. Typically you can make a huge long one fulling the entire under seat section. You could put several subs and an amp. Marc from Car audio Fabrication YT has done a few
I just don’t need that much bass in this truck. it was decent without this sub, now it’s just right for me.

I don't know what type of Bose system you have but mine and my 2019 Chevy Silverado LTZ as great highs lows and mids people think I have a regular sound system in there but it's factory.
I've had a few Bose system in GM vehicles, they are okay, but not great.
@Matt13Ross Ah man I sorry to hear that. Maybe I have to hear a Harmon Cordon system. Maybe I just haven't heard to many more kinds of factory car audio. I do like the factory Rockford Fosgate system I had in my 2017 Nissan Titan, but I get it. It's all in what you like. Great content though, keep it up 👍🏿

@Matt13Ross Yeah I heard that. I just don't wanna mess with all this teck already in there. I have a 2019 LTZ. You might as well call it a High Country with chrome bumpers instead of the painted bumpers. I like my chrome lol.
The stock Bose system with the Kicker sub added is pretty great.
Any options for front cameras to this display or to the factory display so I can see my kids that might be playing in front of my truck? This truck sits up too high too see small children or cats and dogs or other obstacles that might be in your front pathway, I have the 2015 Silverado 2500HD LML Duramax LTZ Z71 same cab as yours just no sunroof. Love your content and that's why I subscribed!

Finally got mine installed thanks for the video . One question have you tried to use the Netflix app ? And did the volume work for the app ? My music and everything else play but no volume with the app.
Have not tried or installed Netflix, no.
I installed Netflix, had the same issue. But next time I got in the truck and tried it worked just fine 🤷🏽♂️
2015 Chevy 6.6 here. Had to buy aftermarket mirrors. Cutting into that grommet was the death of me. Only did it so after time vibrations and shaking doesn’t cause the wire to break and ground out on the metal frame.

I never tried them because i use wireless carolay.

Carry around a Code reader. I have tried three different versions of throttle enhancers and all three eventually messed with the trucks throttle and the unit needed to be removed and check engine light needed to be cleared for the truck to run correctly again.

These fit 2015-2018 trucks body style trucks. I don’t them making anything for 2019 or newer though, just too new.

Nope, no noise from mine. I'd guess you need to move your ground cable around.
Thanks for the reply. I don’t have any accessories- just the factory Bose system and the 14.5” radio. Ordered a PAC SNI 1/3.5 ground loop isolator that plugs into the aux port. Hoping that fixes it 🤞🏼

I bought and installed this unit and its great... except the sound output. I have a pronounced ground loop (whine/buzz/static) that gets louder with RPM of the engine. It is related to the Aux input on the factory radio (that the tablet uses for sound to the truck). I am trying to diagnose it now. Has anyone run into this problem with this unit and found a fix?

Whaaaaaaaat? I’ve never complained about Bose😂 idk why you’ve had such bad luck, but mines been great. 05 1500, 06 2500, 2010 suburban, 2023 2500 and so on, all had Bose, and all sounded great. Great bass😂 and had good vocals. They’re not gonna stack up great against good German audio systems, top of the line Sony (that doesn’t come stock), or a couple other things that I can’t remember the name of, cause it’s been awhile. But I’ve had great luck with Bose. Never been in an LML & LMM year GM with Bose, but everything around it I’ve had great luck with.
It’s an okay system. Nothing special IMHO.
I been thinking about buying one, but i don't know yet. Since i want to install a big system, will it work well with other amps? like for bass mids and highs? i want to install 3 amps in total.
I'm sure you can make anything work, but I'm not sure exactly how.

I say, to my surprise, when I switched from stock to these, I noticed no difference in ride quality.

Hrm I’m not sure. I do know that they auto dim so I haven’t had to manually do it.
