No, I still don't have that confidence on the EV cars. I cannot think about an EV car as my only car. I may think of it as my second or third car. However, I am seriously considering of buying the MG Comet EV for my daily commute within the city limits.
This is one of the best EV vehicle. I have ever seen. I highly suggest everyone to see over this vehicle.
Nice review. I feel like car is most suited for rich/wealthy owners of villas situated in older narrow roads, who won't mind having a 3rd/4th car dedicated just for nearby travel, especially house wives. I don't expect it to sell in volumes, but the best part is it will compel Maruti to push out their EV wagonR sooner, after all K-cars is suzuki expertise.
I guess anyone looking for a smart electric car which is smaller in size can go for it, also it is cheaper than all other EVs present out there
It's not targeted for a segment, as a daily driver and a middle class, this can be a perfect choice for me for it's compact size, I have to struggle for hours in traffic

@@PriyankaSingh-qj5yr I mean to say, what's the real life range of the Comet. I'm still not convinced that it can deliver a range of 191 kms, as claimed in this video.
In my opinion, the maximum range that one can achieve from it, is 125-130 kms only, with 2 people on board, in a congested traffic, where the average speed in which the vehicles move is 20 kmph only.
I took the TD again today, and I could only get a milage of 100 kms, with 4 people on board.
Drive mode: Normal, Regen mode: Normal, AC: On, traffic condition: Medium to heavy.
However, I liked all the other aspects of the car, including the look, features, and the driving and ride comfort. It could be a game changer if it could deliver a range of 150 kms.

Reva was 7 lakh ...15 years back with 70km range ...still people bought it ...Bhai India is still poor country with a lot of of people who can't construct a house with proper car parking. For many this car is very practical and affordable both car and running cost
