So grateful that you made this video. I was struggling with understanding how to size my Printables and you explained it so simply and went through the whole process. Thank you
I want to thank you for clearing up such confusion not given by other youtube creators. I've been trying to figure out all this for a year! You are an awesome teacher and I always am eager to learn what next video teaches. thank you so muchj...CastOutside
Thank you so much for explaining the ratio size. I had no idea what that meant. I have only recently downloaded wall art from Etsy and had no idea what that meant.
Great video! I liked how you showed the entire proces and did not leave us hanging! Very simple to follow so I didn't feel intimated at all. Keep up the great work! New subbie here!
Appreciates your thoroughly tutorial and tips as i am new to canva and learning mode at the moment. Tq so much for making this video, may your days always be wonderful!🎉❤
"WHAT IS GOING ON???!!!!" Story of my life on Canva lol. Awesome video, thank you. I just printed my wall art at Rymans and it was AWFUUUUUUL. I'm so disappointed. Now I'm looking for my own printer, but I don't know where to even start with getting one. A lot of my art is very complex and has many colours.
Thank you for video. Sorry my english is bad and I have a question If we set a 4 by 5 inch file to 300 dpi, it will remain 300 dpi in the other measure or not. If we set a 16 by 20 inch file to 300 dpi, will it remain at 300 dpi at the other metric?
Question. How do you convert an image from 16’’ x 24’’ to 11’’ x 14’’ whithout it changing in appearance, or without having to crop out some elements? Thanks!
Hi Burt, thank you for your excellent content and pedagogical videos. I am new in theses tasks. I wonder if a poster of 24”x36” or bigger isn’t so heavy to send it by regular emails?
Thank you for watching I appreciate it a lot but to answer your question no, it would not be too heavy to send by email. Some designs might be but in order to get around it is to place it in a zip folder
First of all thank you very much for your TIPS!! Now if i understand correct, the only thing i have to do is to create a PDF for example with the biggest size like 16'' x 20'' (4x5 RATIO), and the customer who needs only 4''x5'' ,he has to download only that file (16''x20'') ?
Wow, this video was great. The road trip to Walgreens and WalMart made everything clear from start to finish. I have a sizing question: Can you offer a print in 8.5X11 size? I think most of my potential customers will just print out at home. Or should that size be offered in addition to the ratio sizes? Thank you so much for explaining things so clearly.
Thank you so much for watching! But yes, you can offer only 8.5 x 11 size if you want. I believe more options is better but if you think your design only has value in that size then I’ll only sale that size.
Awesome tutorial Burt! from start to finish you really did a great job explaining this ratio puzzle. It's so hard to figure out and sellers do use what works best for them, but I think your method shown here is the best. Im trying to find the ratio chart you used in your video, I think its the most comprehensive, where did you get it if you dont mind me asking. Thanks!
@@officialtburt No prop. I'll just do what you're doing. You're the only one that explains the "whys" of the measurements and dpi resolutions. Make more videos!

I would love a tutorial just like this one ,step by step, simple and complete .start to finish..to get my design to etsy so i can sell it ..thank you and Have a Blessed Day
Good morning. Sorry for asking again. I understand that you host your files in Dropbox. But also I wonder if in some cases you use Google drive to share the images?
Great content, appreciate your effort within the video. You're very humble and wish you all the success with your Etsy store and your TH-cam channel. A quick question. Can you resize art made from midjourney in canva or would you recommend another tool like Photoshop?
When you download at maximum size, the file is always huge like 40MB, which many customers will find difficult to download, especially if you have to offer all 5 different variations. We are taking about close to 250mb for each zip folder. Please what's the workaround this huge file size?
I like include all the individual sizes in a zip file with an instruction pdf outside the zip file. Not everyone understands zip files, and not everyone would be able to technically handle resizing the ratio thing. They might be doing good to just be able to go online and place the order!
For a buyer, once you purchase the digital download how many copies does the buyer get? Like how many times can they print the image? Thank you for your videos!
Anyone who knows the answer: I just got done accidentally paying for Pro version and didn't use it all because the way i understood, if you stop paying then you pay to use each of the creations you made and I CAN'T do that right now. (Please clarify if I'm wrong &ty) So my monthly payment is here again and I'm flat broke. But, this video suggests CMYK and that's a pro option. If I were to leave it RGB what happens when its printed by customer?
CMYK is better for printing but it’s not mandatory! If you’re flat broke then you are just flat broke get paid using RGB you’ll be fine with that! No worries

When you are doing your image on Canva or... , how much space do you leave between the border your sheet and your work ?
With that design it was 1.6 from side and 1.25 from top but it just depends on the look you want. Doesn’t have to be does measurements
