- In this video you will learn how to download and print digital wall art and also digital wall are ratio size. When it comes to printing out printable wall art, ratio sizes are essential because you will need to know that before you start. If you are not familiar with ratio sizes then it's okay you will be by the end of this video. Not only will we be printing out digital wall art but we also will learn how to frame digital wall art. Wow, this video was great. The road trip to Walgreens and WalMart made everything clear from start to finish. I have a sizing question: Can you offer a print in 8.5X11 size? I think most of my potential customers will just print out at home. Or should that size be offered in addition to the ratio sizes? Thank you so much for explaining things so clearly.
Thank you so much for watching! But yes, you can offer only 8.5 x 11 size if you want. I believe more options is better but if you think your design only has value in that size then I’ll only sale that size.

It's so hard to figure out and sellers do use what works best for them, but I think your method shown here is the best. First of all thank you very much for your TIPS!! Now if i understand correct,the only thing i have to do is to create a PDF for example with the biggest size like 16'' x 20'' (4x5 RATIO), and the customer who needs only 4''x5'' ,he has to download only that file (16''x20'') ?

It works the same settings if I sell physical wall art ??
I like include all the individual sizes in a zip file with an instruction pdf outside the zip file. Not everyone understands zip files, and not everyone would be able to technically handle resizing the ratio thing. They might be doing good to just be able to go online and place the order!

You would have to resize it and edit it yourself. Otherwise it will look different In appearance

Love your teaching style, man!!!! Quck question -- for etsy digital art prints, if you create art that looks great at all ratios without cropping out anything significant, can you technically, just upload one large file (like 12000x12000) instead providing so many different sized files and the customer (or the customer's print-service) can can scale down to any size they need ? Or is there a downside to that?

The customer’s print service will be able to print it out in any size desired. And yes Canva be killing me with glitch!! It would happen while I’m making a video smh lol

If we set a 4 by 5 inch file to 300 dpi, it will remain 300 dpi in the other measure or not.
If we set a 16 by 20 inch file to 300 dpi, will it remain at 300 dpi at the other metric?

For a buyer, once you purchase the digital download how many copies does the buyer get? Like how many times can they print the image? Thank you for your videos!

Anyone who knows the answer: I just got done accidentally paying for Pro version and didn't use it all because the way i understood, if you stop paying then you pay to use each of the creations you made and I CAN'T do that right now. (Please clarify if I'm wrong &ty) So my monthly payment is here again and I'm flat broke. But, this video suggests CMYK and that's a pro option. If I were to leave it RGB what happens when its printed by customer?
CMYK is better for printing but it’s not mandatory! If you’re flat broke then you are just flat broke get paid using RGB you’ll be fine with that! No worries
When you download at maximum size, the file is always huge like 40MB, which many customers will find difficult to download, especially if you have to offer all 5 different variations. We are taking about close to 250mb for each zip folder. Please what's the workaround this huge file size?

You can just upload straight to Etsy
These sizes are for both vertical and horizontal?
Only the 11:14 is horizontal

No, that's not a problem!
When you are doing your image on Canva or... , how much space do you leave between the border your sheet and your work ?
With that design it was 1.6 from side and 1.25 from top but it just depends on the look you want. Doesn’t have to be does measurements
