Monster flathead in the harbour. Caught 3 last Saturday morning. One weighed 3kg 400 grams which is my personal best. The funny thing is they can only be caught at low tide just on daybreak. If I fished the same spot on a rising tide I will catch nothing
Hey mate, I used S Factor by Squidgies in this video. You can get them in certain packs of lures or they also come in a tube. You can get it in almost any tackle shop.
@@nicksmith3746 The black and yellow tube can be purchased separately. The ones I use come as an accessory in some of the Squidgie Pro range packets. I think the main difference is that the colour of the scent can be darker from the small tubes and seem to smell a bit more. The yellow tubes have UV active components in them iirc.
I have never been much of a soft plastic fisherman. I seem to have far better success using fresh bait (not frozen) and I never use bait that has been in fresh water.
I am not fully ambidextrous but I do fish with the reel handle on both sides. I change it up sometimes because it has a different effect on the way the lures move.
I live very close to minute 3:40, (about 150 mt) but I never fish there. About you?
Good area. I like all the groynes there
Who here likes fishing in the winter and what do you like to chase?
kings in the harbour.. went out on charter 2 weeks ago and landed 12 kings, 7 of which went over a metre
@@bongie555 awesome! That would have been pure insanity!
Squid in Victoria!
@@flicknfishin4362 Can't beat it! I gotta try it one day if I'm in the area.

Try putting the s factor from the tubes in a little container, so you just dip the lures in
Nice one mate! How fun are those little botany trevs!
Gotta love them trevs! They fight dirty and pull hard. Simply can't get enough of them.
What do you wipe on lure? And where can we get that man?

Awesome mate, those little Trevs hit hard and they are good fun on light gear, great vid 👍🎣
Thanks Daniel and it's awesome fishing! I need to get stuck into some trevs again.

Well done my friend. I am still trevorless this winter.
Thanks! Keep trying as the chances are good throughout all winter and much of spring.
Nice fishing dude
Cheers mate. More videos as always.
Fishing rugoe lures effective?
Rugoe?
Good job. I like chasing Trevally in winter as well, I was going to go down there for a fish this weekend but you beat me to it 😂😂

Thanks mate. I really appreciate the offer, maybe one day. Keep on flicking, hope you and your son have some awesome sessions.
Session at pier 8 and 2 was little quite few catches of fish and squid. Wish this wind will stop lol
That's alright, catching something is always good. I think this weekend was a blowout. I can't wait for this wind to fall back to manageable levels.
Goody...
Thanks 👍

Sounds good. I like bait fishing too. I don't do it enough though.
Are you ambidextrous bro? in this vid your using left hand to wind reel :)

Too much talking!
Less talking then?
