They weren't randomized, they all had certain requeriments that, if fulfilled in a turn, would give points to that upgrade, when you beat a boss and get to select perks, whatever upgrades has the more points are the ones that appear, unless it's already picked of course. Applies for both players.
@@skipmanghondarg I think it's pretty obvious actually. If you use the same attack a lot (which you likely will due to enemy weaknesses) the game will offer you to make that particular attack stronger.
it's crazy how lance is just a fascist and that's one of his established character traits like they didn't even remove that in the later games he's just a fascist
@@MSBenwastaken tbh the most noticable diffirence between ebf2 lance and ebf5 lance (idk about 3 or 4 since ive only played ebf5) is the nazi symbol (forgot how its spelt) being replaced
@@omegadoesstuff334 Lance stopped having the swastika in ebf3, probably because it'd be problematic for one of the "good guys" to be a nazi. He's still a fascist, he's just, like, very less fascist.
