However much damage the enemies dealt on normal, that damage is doubled on Epic+++ If we talk about the transition from Epic to Epic+++, I'd say the damage has roughly increased by 42% on top of a 40% increase. Well, great job on beating on Epic+++. If someone wants to see someone beating this game on Epic+++, I would recommend this video. Even though you did make some mistakes in this playthrough. Don't hesitate to use the limit break. And be sure to buff your defense too.
I always try to save my limit breaks for boss fights only, though sometimes dire emergencies may arise. And yeah, one mistake I made early on was not using Natalie’s limit break before Matt’s in the first boss fight. That would have gotten the achievement for killing a boss in one turn.
Double Nuke is possible to survive at "normal" Epic. You need to have high HP, strong Def+MDef buffs and guard with one character and give him Autolife too. Other character heals/gives autolife to the first. First one, with buffs and guard, can tank nuke, dies to the second but is then revived by Autolife, survives Valkyrie's attack and revives the other one. If you tank with Matt, you would 100% need to spend 1x water of life afterwards. However, if you tank with Natz, Matt will need to keep Natz healthy somehow since she would need to spend both turns (on casting Revive and then guarding), meaning either Power Metal (which may be not strong enough) or heal potions. not sure about Epic+++, you *should* still be able to survive the first nuke (assuming full health and some MDef buff) but post-revive you would still have to deal with Valkyrie's physical attack while at relatively low health. Matt probably has better chances here due to his guard being stronger vs physical.
Why did the white whispy thing revive itself three times!!!!!! Is it something like mammoths in EBF5 where they need to have a specific status effect to die?? Or is it just random?
It comes into battle with Autolife status. You have to dispel it to properly kill it, but one of its attacks will renew its Autolife and you’ll have to dispel it again.
Firstly, they used Unleash with the Arnachy sword (which has Dispel), so the Auto-revive status is dispelled when hit and they can't revive. Secondly, Syphon only prevent them from doing magical attacks, it doesn't stop them from reviving
Good lord, man. Matt didn't even know this was possible. There's always that one guy to prove the devs wrong, huh?
That’s pretty much what the gaming community in general does, defy the limits of what’s possible!
Lord Bri'ish Postulate, innit?
I remember these games growing up especially for some reasons we won't mention but I loved them growing up
Matt didn't think it was possible respect for doing this genuinely impressive
43:06 That miss on a no Evade bonuses Natalie really made you survive xd.
It really did. I had a lot of lucky breaks in this playthrough!

Imagine someone does this entire run itemless.
Ultra instinct meme ost kicks on evade 1:01:01
I haven't played the Ebf collection version of Ebf2 so the Final Boss music took me by surprise.
I genuinely have no idea how anyone could possibly survive getting double nukes. If they appeared earlier you might’ve actually lost there
WOW You ended that tank when the nukes went to zero with your last two bombs...
47:54 such a lucky nolegs drop lol
55:42 the original grenade cat
1:23:49 the healing and the poison decide to cancel each other out lol
Dude you're the EBF 2 God 🤯
I am mesmerized by this................. Watched the whole thing XD
Double Nuke would have ended it, Lucky Break at the end
Seriously, that fight came down to the wire!

*I am not a car*
don’t those magic fire orbs have auto-revive? you didn’t even siphon them, how did you kill them without them reviving?

How many attempts did you have before succeeding? lol
The final boss alone must have taken at least 10 tries!
I see the fouth video on Epic Battle Fantasy Collection playlist and it is private. Why it is private?
