I played as Scotland, took over the entire campaign map of the British Isles except for London. I set up every last army I had and brought the wrath of Scotland down upon Edward's doorstep... Wallace led the charge and stood atop the rubble by the time it was over.

Is him having blue facepaint and him wearing a kilt during medieval times historcally accurate? As far as i know, Picts used the facepaint and 17th century Scots wore the kilt.
This was based on the movie Braveheart which was highly inaccurate. Scots didn't wear kilts back then, and they most certainly didn't paint themselves like their pagan ancestors. Their military used the same armor and equipment the rest of Europe used.

Scotland was so strong it didn't need Wallace in that campaign, the English were always crushed by welsh

Mine is even more anticlimactic. I only sent two cavalries to defeat him because he was alone and vulnerable. He died in the first cav charge.
